NOTE :- (i) Item of earthing includes cost of 7.5 m long GI strip of size 32x6mm with protection pipe of 40mm dia GI medium grade, any variation in length shall be adjusted through deviation order based on SSR rates enhanced by (-) 10.00%.(ii) On testing after completion of earthing if the desired earth resistance is not obtained earthing will be re-done by the contractor at his own risk and cost. |
| 118 | Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60cmx6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 meters below normal ground level. connecting to the GI wire 4 mm dia by means of bolls, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron and earth wire protected by provision of GI light grade pipe 15mm bore including provision of concrete pit in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates with 40mm thick cover of RCC (1:2:4) reinforced with XPM weight not less than 4 Kg/Sqm) and frame of angle iron 25x25x6mm with lugs 02 Nos and handle of 6mm dia MS bar made to shape, GI medium grade 20mm bore pipe for watering , perforated at bottom. 1.75 metre long placed on top edge of earth plate. charcoal and common salt fillingwith fixing arrangement, funnel wire mesh and earth work in soft soil returning filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 meters all as per electrical plate 3 of SSR-2009 Part-I and connecting to earth test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion.NOTE :- (i) Item of earthing includes cost of 7.5 m long GI wire of size 4 mm dia with protection pipe of 15mm dia GI medium grade, any variation in length shall be adjusted through deviation order based on SSR rates enhanced by (-) 10.00%.(ii) On testing after completion of earthing if the desired earth resistance is not obtained earthing will be re-done by the contractor at his own risk and cost. |
