(a) The contractor shall supply any kind of tools & machinery required for the completion of job. (b) Execution of work / attending break down may also occur in the civil area / road crossing. Therefore the quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of any precautionery measures while working on public places and strict adherence to the norm as applicables. 52	Taking proper shut down in writing disconnecting all the electrical connections, dismantling the unserviceable motorany type centrifugal motor with pump from the base plate and pump and shifting the same to approved workshopfor repair/rewinding and replacement of brunt spare parts and reassembling the motorincluding transportation back the same after rewinding and reassembling, for size of electric motor 15to 75 HP from Post 12 Pump house and BOOSTER complete all as specified anddirected by Engr -in- Charge.

56	Note for (item 21 to 25) :- (a) Rewinding of motor will be measured and paid separately underrelevent item. (b)The motor shall be squirrel cage induction/slipring induction motor. (c)The contractor shall reinstall the motor within one week after handing over for repairs failing which a penalty @ Rs. 1000/- per day of delay will be charged from the contractor.(d)The rates quoted shall be deemed to include the cost of loading/unloading, transportation, grease, nuts, bolts and washers of any size and shape as required at siteand refixing of motor duly functional and testing at its original location/position complete all as specified and directed.(e)Replacement of unserviceable bearings and greasing them completely.Bearing shall shall be measured and paid separately.(f)Motor shall be dismantled at workshop in presence of JE concern and inspected by the Engineer -in-Charge. A repair note shall be prepared by the contractor which shall be signed by contractor, JE, EIC and counter signed by GE. Winding cut shall be made in presence of EIC.
57	Taking down unserv motor and Rewinding the motor rotor with super enamelled copper winding wire/strip as per existing size andtruns etc including all the insulating materials i.e varnish, cotton tape insulating paper and soldering etc of motor capacity 75 to 40 HP complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
