| 11 | Chipping of the Defective & unsound Concrete and cleaning in the spillway portion. Loose delaminated and unsound concrete shall be chipped out completely to reach the sound concrete surface by using concrete breaker/chipping tool. Cleaning shall be done to remove dust, micro fractured particles & foreign material by using grinder, wire brush, air blower and water jet. Area shall be saturated with clean water and allow the surface to come to a saturated, surface dry (SSD) condition.The work shall be done by deploying expert labors having experience of working on hydraulic structure by using latest machines, tools and all safety equipment’s as directed by the Engineer in charge. |
