2OD30218/2022-2023:Supply, installation, trial run and commissioning of Control Module for remote operation of VT pump sets in Sulthan Bathery sub division which is required to automate the start, stop, monitor the operation of VT pump taking care of protection features in situation like over voltage, under voltage, phase changes, single phasing, overload and situations like impeller jam, air lock, foot valve block, sump dry. Proposed Automation system shall be designed, manufactured, installed and tested to ensure the high standards of operational reliability. Instruments mounted in field and on panels shall be suitable for continuous operation. All electronic components shall be adequately rated and circuits shall be designed so that change of component characteristics shall not affect pump operation. The system should suit for different type of starters like VFD, Soft starter, FCMA, Star-Delta etc. the input supply to the drive is through 440v, 3.3kv, 6.6kv or 11kv, controlled by substations and transformers. The added system shall not interfere with the working of starters negatively and should be of externally fitting type. The communication shall be based on GSM and remote operation communication, system status communication should be made available for at least 2 users and to HMI dashboard. The pump should be controlled to start in step-by-step mode in RPM increase, without causing over current flow/huge rise in ampere (Delivery valve in full open mode with NRV/reflux valve). The system may communicate the status including the number of pumps in operation under an office, running hours, idling time, error logs etc. The new system should go in hand with the future integration with PLC/SCADA and should follow standard universal protocol in communication between systems, so that the pump shall be configurable in the PLC/SCADA and operation updates shall be visible in the HMI of the SCADA System. The system should have a replacement warranty of 5 years against normal machine faults, power flash, memory flash, surge failure, lighting surge failure, harmonic failure etc. Scope of the works includes supply, installation, commissioning & testing of automation system for pump houses and real time monitoring of the working of pumps without resorting to any manual methods. Proposed Automation system shall be designed, manufactured, installed and tested to ensure the high standards of operational reliability. All electronic components shall be adequately rated and circuits shall be designed so that change of component characteristics shall not affect pump operation. Control of the pump (ON/OFF) shall be from local panel as well as remotely. Pump can be programmed to start if water is below a set level and turned off if reached to set level. The pump can also be operated on fixed time basis daily, or in other words pumping hours can be set according to demand 24x7. In case of over current, Phase change and under voltage/over voltage the pump can be turned off. Monitor the pumping time Monitor the Voltage, current, frequency. The motor operation should be compatible on all mobile phone platforms, Android, iOS, Windows, even from normal phone or land phone and with semi-automatic star delta. Smart TV (Reputed Indian Make ) with ON/OFF Facility shall be provided. The control module should have the features like high voltage isolation, high-voltage cut off ,machine surge protection ,software security provision, real time motor parameters without SMS or GPRS through IVRS, dynamic power fault correction, automatic reset facility, starter interlock facility, local HMI with exact error display for local troubleshooting, live local motor parameters display with at least 3 second refresh rate, non-bypass of manual ON- OFF button, dynamic water habit stabilization, dynamic configuration facility 3 phases individual input rated fast blown replaceable fuse control, rated fast blown replaceable fuse control for machine board protection, motor or starter power or technology up gradation facility or compatibility, true manual mode, manual Emergency off provision, auto-Manuel mode interlocks facility etc. There should be sufficient provision in the PLC for taking inputs from flow meters, pressure sensors, vibration sensors, temperature sensors, provision for controlling of valves via actuators, to facilitate full automation at a later stage ( 30% space capacity for each panel for future comparison shall be provided in PLC) other than current, voltage energy reading/ consumption and PF and facility to control multiple pumps in the pump house and shall be suitable for HMI, dashboard integrators. Multifunction in the systems shall be communicated through SMS/ or any other suitable communication modes. Read time monitoring of electrical parameters should be, including system health. The installed mechanism shall be IoT based. The system should permit connectivity to third party devices facilitates of future upgradations. Each pump/motor resting shall be taken/ considered individually while design of the system for protection.
