Repairs Maintenance To Roads And Repair Replacement Of Road Furniture At Beas Under Ge Kapurthala - 1 Material & Labour for preparingexisting black top surfaces bybrushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen VG-10 at the rate of 5 Kg per 10 Sqm of road surface, laying, rolling, consolidating 30mm thick (consolidated thickness)bituminous premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete with 5.5% binder content (VG-30) by weight of total mix laid with mechanical paver roller and compacted to required camber and gradient and rolled with pressure roller and 8 to 10 tonne power road roller to achieve a uniform smooth surface with Pneumatic vibratory roller complete all as specified and directed.Note: Mix shall be prepared in Hot mix plant as per job mix formula obtained from authorised testing lab and laying will be done by mechanical paver. 2 Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 Sqm and depth exc 50mm and not exc 100 mm deep including removal of rubbish material not exc 50 m complete all as specified and directed. 3 Material & Labour for preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam surfaces bybrushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen VG-10 at the rate of 10 Kg per 10 Sqm of road surface complete all as specified and directed. 4 M&L forapplying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen VG-10 at the rate of 10 Kg per 10 Sqm of road surface complete all as specified and directed. 5 Material & Labour for premix bituminous macadam laid, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness not more than 50mm) with paving bitumen VG-30 any penetration@ 4% by weight of total mix laid rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller complete all as specified anddirected. 6 Material & Labour for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen VG-10 at the rate of 5 Kg per 10 Sqm on bitumen macadam road surface and laying, rolling, consolidating 40 mm thick (consolidated thickness)bituminous premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete with 5.5% binder content (VG-30) by weight of total mix laid with mechanical paver roller and compacted to required camber and gradient and rolled with pressure roller and 8 to 10 tonne power road roller to achieve a uniform smooth surface with Pneumatic vibratory roller complete all as specified and directed.Note: Mix shall be prepared in Hot mix plant as per job mix formula obtained from authorised testing lab and laying will be done by mechanical paver. 7 M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS-3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instructioncomplete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge and accordance with manufacturers specifications. 8 M&L for repair to pot holes any depth not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweepingfree from dust and mud, or water scoring sunken surfaces in road path etc cutting around edges, at least 25mm in depth and making goodby applying tack coat using paving bitumen VG-10 @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm, putting in semi dense asphaltic concrete well rammed and sealed with binder using paving bitumen @ 9.8 Kg per 10 Sqm blinded with 0.09 cum stone chipping 6.3mm size and again well rammed (including supply ofpremixed macadam binder and chippings) and compacted to required gradient with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller, depth of pot hole exceeding 30mm complete all as specified anddirected. 9 Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced) in ground floor and paving n. exc. 15cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and directed. 10 Material & labour for 100mm thick PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in sub base of flooring complete all as specified and directed. 11 Material & labour for 100mm thick PCC (1:2:4) type B-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in flooring complete all as specified and directed. 12 Material & labour for forming construction joints 75mm deep and 10mm wide filled with sealing compound grade A complete all as specified and directed. 13 Material & labour for sand filling under floors, paver blocks including watering and consolidation complete all as specified and directed. 14 Material & Labour for 60mm thick machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block and shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of M-35 Grade with grey cement and pigment over sand cushioning complete all as specified and directed. The Interlocking Paver blocks shall be procured directly from one of theManufacturers specified. Note:-The sample shall be got approved from the GE before bulk procurement and lots shall be got tested independently by the GE. 15 Material & Labour for precast factory made PCC blocks (1:2:4) type B-1 for road edging exc. 10cm in width set in cement mortar 1:6 on both sides of roads including necessary excavation embedding blocks in the ground to required depth, filling the gap between road and kerb stone with premix bituminous material ,tamping around and removing surplus spoil and deposited to a distance not exceeding 50m complete all as specified and directed. The Paver blocks shall be procured directly from Manufacturers specified. Note:-The sample shall be got approved from the GE before bulk procurement and lots shall be got tested independently by the GE. 16 Supply & fixing in repair cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20 mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and indl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. 17 Supply & fixin repair Supply and fix solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc. all as specified and directed by Enginner-in Charge. 18 Supply & fixin repair metal tubular dealineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50mm dia mild steel pipe of 600mm height duly powder coated and therrmo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B-1 complete all as specified and directed by Enginner-in Charge. 19 Supply & Fixing in repair solar raod delineator 6 LEDs of colour red/yellow housed in plastic body. LEDs , solar-cells, battery and light sensor well protected inside polycarbonate sheet; device protected with powder coated wire mesh cage. System mounted over 47mm dia steel tube powder coated of length 1000mm having sheet foot for firm grip to gound. System workable for 2-3 days (nights) after full charge for 8-10 hours. 20 Supply & Fixing in repair reflective HIP cautionary circular sign boards of size 900mm dia made of ACP sheet 3mm thick supported over 25x25x3mm MS angle iron frame. Frame powder coated with hold fasts. Front side of the signboard fully reflective with high intensity reflective sheet base. Letter, sign and border duly computer cut.complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. 21 Supply & Fixing in repair informatory name board of size 1800mmx1200mm made of aluminium sheet 3mm thick with stainless steel rectangular frame using 40x25mm rectangular pipe with 75mm dia stainless pipe of 304 grade glossy finish in outer border all around retro reflective high intensity 400 micron thick blue/red colour sheet pasted with heating process on both side of the board including 75mm to 100mm high white colour letters cut to shape with special plotter and in proper manner as directed by Engr-in-Charge. 02 Nos 100mm dia stainless steel pipes of 304 grade glossy finish with MS plate 3mm thick welded at bottom of pipes shall be provided. The board shall be fixed at height of 3.0m (Top level of board) above GL and shall be embedded in ground using PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 of min size 900mmx900mmx 1500mm including necessary form work, excavation and earth work complete all as specified and directed. 22 Supply & Fixing in repair Duel-directional speed breaker having high intensity cube corner reflector firmly bonded to high impact resistant plastic body of colour yellow and black of size 250x345x50mm (height) provided with 4 steel nails. Shape of side body to have interlocking pattern to keep all speed breakers in a row.
