Establishment of Advanced virus and other pathogens diagnostic and Testing Service Centre for Plant Propagation Materials for the benefit of the Farmers and Entrepreneurs in West Bengal , Particulars , Plant Growth Chamber With Laminar Flow : • Chamber Internal Capacity Should Be Minimum Between 1200 – 1300 Ltrs • Temperature Range 00C To 400C Lights Off +50C To 400C Lights On Or Better • Temperature Stability +/-0.50C Or Better • Humidity Range: Upto 95% Lights Off & 80% Lights On Or Better • Humidity Stability +/- 3% Rh Or Better • Chamber Should Be Supplied Water Storage Tank Approx. 15 To 20 Litrs For Humidity Water Storage. Humidifiction Should Be Ultrasonic Humidification Or Equivalent For Better Humidity Uniformity • Fluorescent Lamps Properly Located Horizontally Tier Tray Which Must Be Adjustable To Provide A Uniform Light Intensity Throughout The Shelf. • Light Intensity Must Be 290 Micromoles/M2/S Or More Per Shelve And Should Be Dimmable From 100% To 10%. Chamber Should Be Supplied With Two Light Try Shelves. • Control Panel For Temperature; Humidity And Photoperiod With Touch Screen Display With Real Time Circadian (Countdown) Programming. Programs Can Run In Ramping Or Non-Ramping Or Diurnal Modes. • There Must Be Provision That Chamber Should Accomodate Led Light Trays In Fututre At No Extra Cost On Hardware But Only Taking The Extra Led Light Shelf • Air Circulation Inside The Chamber Should Be From An Air Diffuser & Should Travel Along The Entire Back Wall Over The Shelves Should Be Adjustable To Plant-Specific To Ensure Uniform Transpiration And Optimum Excahnge Of Gases • Doors Must Be Reach-In Door With Magnetic Gasket To Provide Tight Seal And With Lock & Key For Each Door • Independent High/Low Temperature Safeties Adjustable Must Be Availabe For Chamber Utilizing An Independent Sensor. • Chamber Interior Should Be Made From Corrosion Resistant Ss Or White Plastic Coated Aluminium And Exterior Should Be Plastic Coated Steel. It Should Have Castor Wheels For Easy Mobility.
