4Excavation for roadwork in soil by manual/mechanical means including cutting , trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections, including breaking of clods and disposal within ROW as per technical clause 301 of MORT&H specifications.(HSR 17.74)
5Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification,clause 305.1including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious matter,and disposal with all lead and lift , dressing of side and bottom andbackfilling in trenches with excavated suitable material as per clause no. 305 of MoRD specification Rural roads-2004.
6E/Work in embankment , subgrade and Berm in raising portion in RD 445 to 830 to with soil minimumCBR of 8%( 4 days soaked) obtained from borrow pit with all lead and lift transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of section 301 of MoRD specification Clause No. 301.The finished road surface will be as per X-section and L-Section approved by Employer with respect to GTS . At no place, sub grade of raised road will be less than 0.90 mtr above adjoining NSL. NSL for a block of 100mtr will be worked as mean of 6 levels taken on 20 m center to center length of road. These six levels are at three location on both side one at edge row. Other at 5 m and 10 m away from row. In built up area criteria of 0.90 Mtr. High over NSL shall not apply. In case the quantity of earth work calculated with NSL and finished level found to be less than 2916.17 cum. Then actual quantity (less than 2916.17 cum) will be paid. In case quantity worked out to be more than 2916.17 cum, then only 2916.17 cum cum will be paid Excess quantity shall be incidental to work and nothing extra will be paid. Further it shall be ensured that atleast 500mm of subgrade with earth of minimum CBR 8% (4 days soaked) shall be constructed at each location. Whenever any cutting of existing subgrade is required on this account excavation as well as handling and disposal of earthwork to accommodate minimum 500mm thick subgrade of minimum 8% CBR (4days soaked) shall be carried out by the agency at his own cost. Nothing extra will be paid on this account. Before start of work, L- sectionand X section shall be got approved from the employer with respect to GTS as per directive. Note: If soil of CBR 8% is not available then the agency will do appropriate stabilization as per IRC – SP—89-2010 as approved by SE-In-Charge and nothing extra shall be paid on this account and it will be incidental to work. No earth work will be allowed from PWD land
7Preparation of berms including filling of Earth work, excavation and cutting of earth in all kind of soils including dressing the bank, side slope to given levels and templates after breaking of clouds, including the cost of rolling and watering all allowances for labour hardness wetness irrespective of all lead and lift and including Compensation for earth taken from private land, fields etc. and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MoRT&H specification clause No. 30 and to entire satisfaction of the Engineer of the work confirming to PWD specification No. 6.2 and 6.3 and 3.2 and the other specification 1990 Ist edition. As per X-section. This item also includes E/W if required in sub grade for Widening and Shoulder. Earth used for sub grade, shoulder and berms should have minimum CBR 8%. Note:- No earth work will be allowed to be taken from PWD B&R/ROW except for surplus earth after approval from Engineer.
8Compaction of & preparation of sub grade including loosening, levelling of earth 225 mm thick top layer, rough dressing of soil, final dressing of earth to give level, camber, watering, rolling with road roller, compacting the bed to achieve minimum dry density as given in the Table 3000-2 as per technical clause 305 of MORT&H specifications (HSR 17.5.3)
9Providing laying, watering and compacting of 200 mm GRANULAR SUB BASECOARSE (G-III) graded by providing well graded material spreading in uniform layers with mortar grader on prepared surface mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per technical specification of MoRD clause 401for Rural Roads 2004). Note:- Only crushed material should be used, no local earth/sand shall be used.The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero plasticity index (P-I) 2. Material and operation manufacturing shall be approved by Engineer.
10Construction of Bio enzyme based soil stabilised layer to a required thickness 100 mm as per manufacturer design with ripping the existing crust 50 mm and adding 50mm of borrow soil with local soil material/gravel/murram, having minimum CBR 8% and treating it with TerraZyme in the ratio 1 Litre for 15 cum soil, spreading in uniform layer with tractor grader on prepared surface. Mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density complete as per technical specification incl all labour, materials, like soil and metal, equipment’s etc., complete.As per the directions of the Engineer incharge of the work. Note:-the work to be executed in the presence of representative of technology provider
11Providing & laying 75/225 mm thick (Compacted) stone metal (G-II) 53mm to 22.4mm gauge wearing coat to water bound macadam in layer of 75mm eachusing screening type ‘B’ compacting with three wheeled power rollers of 80-100 kN capacity or tandem or vibratory of 80-100 kN static weigth to achieve the desire density including lighting, guarding barricading and maintenance of diversion etc. as perclause no 405 of MoRD specification for Rural Roads-2004) as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects.(N.S.) Note: - 1.Only crushed stone metal material should be used. No local earth/ natural occurring sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by engineer.
12Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-I) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer mix including silane at the rate of 0.60 kg/sqm using mechanical means asper Technical specification clause 502 of MoRD specification Rural roads-2004. Instructions issued from time to time by MoRD regarding bitumen emulsion will be followed strictly. Note:- Bituminous Macadam to be laid with in 24 Hrs. of laying primer coat & Tack coat does not required to be provided above the primer coat. However, if the BM is not laid with in 24 hours of laying prime coat then tack coat would have to be provided by the contractor but no payment at the same shall be made and it would be incidental to work.
13Providing and applyingTack coat of VG 10 ( 80/100 grade) bitumen using bitumen @ 0.25 kg per sqmall inclusive including clearing and blowing dust off the surface using a compressor and brooms ( conforming to clause 503 of MoRD specification-2004) for PC.Instructions issued from time to time by MoRD regarding bitumen VG-10 will be followed strictly.
14Providing, laying and rolling of open - graded premix surfacing of 20 mm thickness composed of crushed stone aggregates of specified grading premixed in a continuous Drum type of hot mix plant of appropriate capacity not less not less than75 tonne per hour, with bituminous binder VG - 10 @ 1.46 kg per sqm, laid with Paver Finisher Mechanical androlling with a smooth wheeled roller 8-10 tonne capacity, finished to required level and grades complete as per technical clause 510 of MORT&H specifications. (Based on HSR 17.33.1) Note: - Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS – 6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti – stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and nothing extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor.
15Providing and laying ‘B’ type seal coat with VG-10 grade bitumen @ 0.68 kg per sqm of road excluding cost of tack coat, with mixed material brought from Hot mix plant and laying with paver finisher and compacting with road roller to achieve specified/desirable value of compaction as per direction of Engineer including cost of lighting arrangement, sign board and night watch, complete in all respect as per clause 510 of MoRD specification for rural roads 2004.
16Providing and Laying 80 mm thick ISI marked Interlocking Paver Blocks conforming to IS 15658:2006/IRC SP 63: 2004 of all shapes and colours in design mix cement M 40 over the bed of 30 mm thick fine sand complete in all respect. (HSR 17.69.2)
17Providing and laying of cement concrete blocks of size 0.450 m x0.300 m x 0.15 m of cement concrete (C.C) M30 grade and spreading 25 mm thick sand underneath filling joints with sand on existing W.B.M./G.S.B base as per technical specification clause 1503 (HSR.17.66.1)

All sections of framed posts and steel will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per drawing Clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1
25Providing and fixing Citizen Informatory Sign Board of PMGSY size 600×600mm diamond shape with 1 plate of size 900×250 mm made of 60 gauge sheet over frame of angle iron 25×5×3 as per PMGSY specifications & drawing, painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and colour. All sections of framed posts and steel will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per drawing Clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1

44Recovery Items:- The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Material obtained from dismantling of existing brick work, bituminous layer and granular layers have beencalculated taking assumption that 80% of theoretical material will be retrieved. The dismantled material can used in any of the item for the work after modification (bringing it to required specifications) after approval from employer. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material. This material can be taken away by the agency at the pricequoted by the agency but minimum price to be quoted is limited to reserve price as fixed and mentioned as under:- (i) Bituminous Milling Material @ Rs.1711/- Per Cum
45Granular material @Rs.450/-per Cum Note:- All quantities of the above materials have been worked out on the basis of theoritical quantities laid on this road. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieved material. There shall be no measurement after actual sacrifying is found no lesser side , no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rates and quantity exhibited in the entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rates and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made . The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rates by the agency . No rates below the reserve price will be entertained and reserve price will be considered for all purpose in case the agency quotes lesser than reserve price.Note:- If any discrepancy found in the unit/Nomenclature in the items of BOQ. The nomenclature of HSR/MoRD shall be applicable. Note:- If any discrepancy found in the unit/Nomenclature in the items of BOQ. The nomenclature of HSR/MoRD shall be applicable.NOTE- It may kindly be noted that the contractor would be obligated to carry out 05 years paid maintenance as per the rates fixed in the DNIT.
