1M & L for disconnecting all incoming and outgoing cables of transformers of following capacities at various locations installed on two pole/four pole structures/on platforms at Station, opening the top cover, carrying out following activities :- (a) Draining out all the transformer oil to clean barrel for reuse. (b)Dismantling of all attachment viz breather assy, conservator, oil temperature gauge, HT/LT bushing etc and keeping aside for re-use and re-assembling the serviceable dismantled parts/new spare by providing new insulation materials, gasket, nuts & bolts etc. (c) Inspection of transformer core and winding, drying out transformer core and winding in vacuum chamber till specified IR values are obtained. (d)Cleaning of complete transformer tank, oil fins, removing of sludge and making the inside surface of tank dry by blowing of hot air as directed. Note : Dehydration of collected transformer oil shall be measured and paid under respective item of BOQ here-in-after.

11M & L for removing of thetransformers of following capacities at various locations installed on two pole/four pole structures/on platforms at Station and loading it in the vehicle carefully using crane and transporting it to the workshop for HV/LV re-winding, transport the transformer back to the site , install it complete all as specified and directed :- Notes : (a) M & L for Cost of re-winding shall be measured and paid for separately under respective item of BOQ here-in-after. (b)All other repair work and replacement of spares/components shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items of BOQ.

13M & L forre-winding HV/LV coils of transformers with super enameled copper wire as per the existing gauge and as per laid down standards incl re-insulating with suitable insulating material, complete all as directed

40M & L for on site centrifusing (dehydration) of old transformer oil at various locations of transformers of Capacity 100 KVA to 630 KVA installed on two pole/four pole structures/on platforms at Station filter action using automatic centrifusing (dehydration) machine to achieve min 40 KV breaking voltage (di-electric strength) at 2.5 mm gap for 2 minutes by absorbing and abolishing all sludge particles for use as perBS-B 66-1983 complete all as specified and directed. Notes : (a) All disconnection/re-connection of transformers HT/LT cables, T & P for required for above activity shall be arranged by contractor and quoted rates deemed to include for same. (b) Dielectric strength of the oil to be tested at site in presence of Engineer-in-charge without any extra cost and recorded the same.
41Supply and fill new transformer oil ISI Marked (for topping up) confirming to IS-335 of 1993, low viscosity with dielectric strength 50 KV breaking voltage in 2.5mm gap for 2 minutes filled in transformer at various locations in Station, refixing of top cover and testing, complete all as specified anddirected. (Note :- Dielectric strength of the oil to be tested at site in presence of Engineer-in-charge without any extra cost and recorded the same.)
42Supply & fixing of cork/rubber gasket 4mm thick for top cover and other joints for transformers of capacity upto upto 630 KVA,11/0.433 KV complete all as specified and as directed.
43M&L for preparation of old surfaces by scraping, removing, cleaning, of oil, grease painting of transformer internally and externally and applying two coat of heat resistant synthetic enamel paint of colour as directed by spray painting including writing MES No and SM No on transformer body with synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed for following capacities transformer:-

52M & L for earthing complete with Copper earth plate 60 cm X 60 cm X 3.15 mm thick buried vertically in ground to depth not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level, with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 m below ground level, connected to copper earth strip of size 20mmx3mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel besides welding at all joints as shown in drawing and including excavation and earth work, GI pipe light grade 40mm bore for protection of earth wire and connected to continous earth lead on pole/test point, supplying and laying charcoal dust common salt PCC 1:2:4 type B1, chamber and MS angle iron frame 40x40x3mm and RCC cover 40mm thick (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with 6mm dia round bars @ 75mm C/C both ways with MS handle 12mm dia, PGI/CI funnel and wire mesh, 20mm dia GI pipe medium grade for watering all as shown in electrical plate No 5 on srl page No 497 of SSR Part I (2009)drawing and connection to earth test point including testing and including dismantling and taking out old earthing complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) The cost of earth lead /strip and GI pipe for protection of earth lead/strip upto 7.5m is included in the quoted rate. (ii)The cost of excavation, earth work is included in the quoted rate.
53M & L in replacement Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos. 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal head screw complete all as specified and directed
54Distmantling and taking down old cross arms, bracing support clamps and back plates from poles etc, complete all as directed.
55Supply and fixing MS structural steel work in cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated (with drilled holes hot and cold etc) from channel/angle iron sections of various size and shape FI clamps (full, half "D" and earth clamp etc) including necessary MS bolts, nuts, washer etc and painting with two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide primer complete all as directed.
56Excavation in trenches in soft / loose soil, not exc 1.5 m wide and n. exc 1.5 m depth or n exc 10 Sqm on plan & getting out, for laying of cables, foundations of poles, struts, stays etc. and getting out including triming and forming bottom surface complete, all as directed.
57Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cms thick in soft / loose soilback in trenches after cables have been laid and tested, poles, stays , struts have been erected and tested complete all as directed.
58Removing excavated materials to a distance not exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 m above the starting point in soils complete all as directed.
59M & L for dry sand cushioning to PVC under ground cable with screened and washed sand and punning to provide a required covercomplete all as specified and directed. Note :- Thickness after punning shall be considered for payment.
60Supply and laying factory made ISI marked un-reinforced precast concrete cable covers class HV type I flat of size 300mm x 180mm x 40mmcomplete all as specified and directed.
61S & F in replacement Galvanised steel tubing light grade for protection of under ground cable on poles / walls/under road crossing/laid in trenches etc conforming to IS-1239 for size 80mm bore complete all as directed:-
62Taking out old unserviceable HT UG cable and Supplying, Fixing/laying,jointing and testing and commissioning XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavyduty) with aluminium conductor, 11000 volts Earthed, grade cross sectional area 120 sq. mm, 3 core complete all as specified and directed
63Taking out old unserviceable LT UG cable and Supplying, Fixing/laying,jointing and testing and commissioning, LT under ground cables, 1100 Volts grade, XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with stranded aluminuim conductors, laid in trenches, ducts/fixed on poles/walls/laid under roads/paths/drains/culverts or encased in GI pipe complete all as specified and directed of following sizes:-Note :- Excavation & earth work, GI pipe for laying of cable, sand cushioning, cable protection cover shall be measured and paid for seprately under respective items of the schedule.

75Taking down all parts of APFC Panels any capacity including existing wiring and M & L forpreparation of old existing door, inner & outer steel or iron surfaces of APFC Panels in position including removal of disintegrated and deteriorated paint by scrapping out with wire brush or iron scrubber, applying a coat of red oxide primer and one under coat, one finish coat of synthetic enamel paintwith spray gun machine for smooth finish including writing letter and complete re-assembling of APFC Panels any capacity by refixing the old serviceable parts/new parts with complete rewiring of APFC Panels with 1.5/2.5/6 sqmm (as per existing size) Heat Resistant Flame Retardant HRFR PVC Insulated Industrial Cables multistranded copper conductor cable PVC insulated and unsheathed 1100 volts grade conforming to IS-694 with appropriate sleeves, copper lugs pin/ring type as required including marking Nos, spiral PVC conduit, PVC clamps, proper alingnment of wires and testing after re-assembling the APFC Panels complete all as specified and directed.
