Day To Day Solid Waste Management Services Including Barricading Of Garbage Site At Nsut Main Campus For 03 Years.- 1 1 Day To Day Solid Waste Management Consisting Of The Following Operations:I. Day To Day Collection Of Solid Waste From Residential Flats And Guest House Located In The Campus [ 150 Flats Approx. ] In Bio-Degradable Garbage Bags. One Fresh Bag [ Green ] Shall Be Issued By The Contractor To Each Flat Every Day Free Of Cost To Collect Kitchen Waste. Blue Bag Shall Be Issued In A Week To Collect Dry Waste Garbage. Ii. Day To Day Collection Of Solid Waste From All Hostels [ Four Boys Hostels And Three Girls Hostels ] Mess Separately From The Garbage Bin Located Near Each Mess. The Other Waste Shall Be Collected From Dustbins Located Around All Hostels.Iii. Day To Day Collection Of Solid Waste From Various Dustbins Located Outside Various Buildings Such As Administrative Block, Academic Blocks, Library, Workshops, Smart Class Rooms, Sports Complex, Engg. Cell Maintenance Stores, Main Gate, Parks, Road Sides, Front Of Hostels Etc. The Contractor Shall Put Fresh Bio-Degradable Garbage Bags, ( Green And Blue ) Green Bag For Bio-Degradable Waste And Blue For Other Waste On Weekly Basis Or Earlier. In Case The Bag Is Found In Bad Condition, It Shall Be Replaced Immediately. Iv. Day To Day Collection Of Solid Waste From Food Kiosks, Canteen Etc.V. Day To Day Collection Of Solid Waste From Nsut Clinic And Disposal Through Incinerator.Vi. Transportation Of Solid Waste Collected Under Serial No.1 To 5 Above To Segregation Yard Located Within The Campus Of Nsut. The Transportation Shall Be Made By Using Covered Mechanized Transport Vehicle. Vii. Day To Day Segregation Of Collected Waste In The Segregation Yard.Viii. Sorting / Segregation Of Garbage At Segregation Yard In Different Categories I.E. Bio-Degradable Waste And Other Waste ( Recyclable Waste, Non-Degradable And Non- Recyclable Waste ) .Ix. Vermi-Compost Shall Be Generated By Using Segregated Kitchen Waste. Sufficient Quantity Of Decayed Cow Dung Shall Be Supplied And Used To Generate Superior Quality Vermi-Compost. Earth Worms Shall Be Paid Separately For First Occasion Only. Subsequently, The Earthworms Produced By Multiplication Shall Be Used For Vermi-Composting. The Final Product Of Compost Shall Be Handed Over To Nsut After Sieving. X. Segregated Other Waste ( Recyclable Waste, Non-Degradable And Non- Recyclable Waste ) Shall Be Removed And Shifted To Mcd Authorized Waste Pickers Or The Authorized Waste Recyclers.Xi. Sheet Should Have Protective Guard Film Of 25 Microns Minimum To Avoid Scratches During Transportation And Should Be Supplied In Single Length Upto 12 Metre Or As Desired By Engineerin-Charge. 11 Day to day Solid waste management consisting of the following operations:I. Day to day collection of solid waste from residential flats and guest house located in the campus [150 flats approx.] in Bio-degradable garbage bags. One fresh bag [Green] shall be issued by the contractor to each flat every day free of cost to collect kitchen waste. Blue bag shall be issued in a week to collect dry waste garbage. II. Day to day collection of solid waste from all hostels [Four Boys hostels and three Girls hostels] mess separately from the garbage bin located near each mess. The other waste shall be collected from dustbins located around all hostels.III. Day to day collection of solid waste from various dustbins located outside various buildings such as Administrative Block, Academic Blocks, Library, Workshops, Smart Class rooms, Sports Complex, Engg. Cell maintenance stores, Main Gate, Parks, Road sides, Front of hostels etc. The contractor shall put fresh Bio-degradable garbage bags, (Green and Blue) green bag for Bio-degradable waste and blue for other waste on weekly basis or earlier. In case the bag is found in bad condition, it shall be replaced immediately. IV. Day to day collection of solid waste from food kiosks, Canteen etc.V. Day to day collection of solid waste from NSUT Clinic and disposal through incinerator.VI. Transportation of solid waste collected under serial no.1 to 5 above to segregation yard located within the campus of NSUT. The transportation shall be made by using covered mechanized transport vehicle. VII. Day to day segregation of collected waste in the segregation yard.VIII. Sorting/Segregation of garbage at segregation yard in different categories i.e. Bio-degradable waste and other waste (Recyclable waste, non-degradable and non- recyclable waste).IX. Vermi-compost shall be generated by using segregated kitchen waste. Sufficient quantity of decayed cow dung shall be supplied and used to generate superior quality vermi-compost. Earth worms shall be paid separately for first occasion only. Subsequently, the earthworms produced by multiplication shall be used for vermi-composting. The final product of compost shall be handed over to NSUT after sieving. X. Segregated other waste (Recyclable waste, non-degradable and non- recyclable waste) shall be removed and shifted to MCD authorized waste pickers or the authorized waste recyclers.XI. Spraying of approved insecticides in dustbins & segregation site after cleaning the same every day or as per direction of Officer-In-Charge.XII. The besides above work shall be carried out in accordance with the scope of work [Annexure-I] and terms and condition [Annexure-II].
22 Supply of Earth worms for Vermi-composting of Kitchen waste (Degradable cooked & uncooked foods) generated at NSUT Campus.
33 Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m. 44 Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand (zone-III) derived fromnatural sources : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mmnominal size derived from natural sources)
55 Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete.
66 Providing and fixing precoated galvanised iron profile sheets (size, shape and pitch of corrugation as approved by Engineer-in-charge) 0.50 mm (+ 0.05 %) total coated thickness with zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns.
