Bids Are Invited For OR Living Shelter (40 Men/FEMS) -Provn of prefabricated fast erectable modular shelter(40 Men) of size 18.42 x 6.10 mtr up to height of 3.00 mtr including verandah 1.5mtr wide (Drawing att at Appx E) with Puff panel made of prefabricated composite sandwiched panel using profile sheet 0.60 mm thick on both side and filled with 60 mm thick Puff with minimum density 90 Kg/cum (+ 10%) for insulation with following tech specs : (a) Internal size 1 x Hall ( 18.30 m x 6.10 m x 2.70 m) (b) Verandah of size (18.30 m x 1.5 m) (c) Anchorage to stabilize the structure due to wind load shall be provided by vendor. Design criteria. (a) Seismic Co-efficient – As per Seismic Zone V (b) Snow load - 1.00 M standing on roof. (c) Wind load - Equivalent to basic wind speed of 55 mtrs/sec as per IS-875. (d) Roof slope - As per design. (e) External temperature – (-) 45ºC to + 35ºC. (f) Water absorption/Penetration – Nil and adequate sealing material be provided. (g) Termite proofing – Termite proof. (h) Fire resistant – Fire retardant & should not emit toxic fumes. (j) Ease of construction – Shelter should be modular in design. (k) Design load – As per IS 875. Design Data (a) Length - 18.42 M (b) Width -7.60 M including verandah (c) Shelter internal clear Height - 2.70 Mtr upto flase ceiling from top of floor panel. (d) The internal clear floor area for will be 18.30 x 6.10 Mtr (e) Roof Slope - 1:2 As per drawing. Material. All material required for the manufacturing of living shelter (40 Men) will be new and will comply with relevant IS as applicable and those given succeeding para. The living shelter (40 Men) shall be considered and manufactured as per IS : 875 for structural design. All Steel member used shall be conforming to IS: 2062/2011 for steel for general structural purposes. 5 Details of Structural Members for shelter. All SHS and RHS sections Structural Members shall be as per the schedule of structure:- (a) Columns. The main columns (16 Nos) shall be made using RHS of 122x61x3.6 mm(9.67Kg/Rm) conforming to IS 4923:1997. MS base plate os size 250x250x8 mm (62.80 Kg/Sqm) and top plate of size 200x150x8mm(62.80 Kg/sqm) will be connected with nut and bolt to the column. Verandah columns (08 Nos) will be out of RH steel section 96x48x4 mm thick (8.22 Kg/Rm) with MS base plate of size 200 mm x200 mm 8mm (62.80 kg/Sqm) and top plate of size 200 x150 x 8 mm (62.80 kg/Sqm). All top and base plate will be pre-drilled with 4 Nos 18 mm dia holes. Base plares will be provided with 4 Nos 6 mm dia 450 mm long holding down bolts each, while top pltes will be provided with 4 Nos 16 mm dia normal bolts. (b) Verandah Rafter. Verandah rafter made up RH steel section of size 96x48x4mm thick (8.22 kg/Rm)with Ms plate of size 200x150x6mm thick (47.10 kg/Sqm) connected with nut and bolt to both ends of rafter. MS plates will be provided with 04 Nos holes of 18 mm dia to join with priniciple rafter plate and verandah column. (c) Truss - 08 Nos. (As per drawing) - The principle rafter and the bottom chord will be fabricated out of RH steel section of size 96x48x4mm(8.22Kg/Rm) with slope 1:2 slope. All other strutmembers will be fabricated out of RH steel section of size 66x33x2.90 mm ( 4.07 Kg/Rm). (d) Purlin- 11 Nos. (As per drawing) - The prulins will be made using RHS of 96 x 48 x 4 mm with (8.22 kg/Rm) 6mm thick cleats welded at both the ends. (e) Horizontal Runners. 2 levels of runners as per drawing will be provided made of SHS 50x50x4 mm and will be jointed will all the columns using suitable size 6 mm this end plates/angles cleats of 50x50x5mm. (f) Gable End. Gable end will be covered with same panels as of wall upto bottom chord of truss. The triangular truss portion will be covered with 0.6 mm thick camouflage/green/sand pattern colour coated steel profile sheets. (g) Base frame & flooring. Base frame to be designed and fabricated as given in drawing and as per the following specifications .Base frame shall be constructed using primary of size RHS 80mm x 40mm x 4 mm thick& secondary members of size RHS 66 x 33 x 4 mm . The primary & secondary members will be connected together using suitable end plates of 6 mm thick / angle cleats of 75x75 x 5mm. The base frame has to be completely on nut & bolt system. All members will be joined using 12 mm dia nut bolts with washers. (h) Base frame Pedestals. (24 Nos) Pedestals will be made of SHS 150 x 150 x 6mm of height 200 mm with base plate 400 x 400 x 8mm and top plate of size 300 x 300 x 8mm with 4 Nos of 15mm dia hole for providing 75mm long 12 mm dia nut & bolt including 2 x 12 mm dia MS washer. 6 Work Man Ship. (a) Connection. All connections alongwith jointing with nut , bolt and washer shall be provided unless otherwise specified in the drawings. The connected with nut and bolt if any will be conformed to IS 806-1968. (b) Fabrication. The general provisions in section 11 of IS 800 of 1984 will apply to all types of steel being used for fabrication. (c) All steel members will be provided with 2 coats of red oxide zinc chromate primer & 2 coats of enamel paint before supply. Colour will be provided site requirement. (d) Various Fasteners and Fittings. Fasteners and fittings of mild steel shall be supplied unless otherwise specified in and shall be fixed where required. Fastening means will be provided for the items to be fitted at the time of erection. 10% spare nuts, bolts, and washers will be provided per shelter. The fasteners supplied shall conform to relevant BIS specification. 7 Wall Panels. (a) The main and partition walls will be made up of 60 mm thick PUF insulated Wall Panels.The Panels will be made of 0.50mm thick colour coated steel sheets on both side with 60 mm thick layer of rigid CFC free close cell polyurethane foam (Density 40 Kg + 2 Kg /Cum) insulation. The wall panels will be provided with tongue and groove joint and will be with cam lock systems for interlocking. All materials required for the manufacture of shelter will be new and shall comply with relevant Bureau of Indian Standard specification. Bottom & Top channel of size 30 x 65 x 1.25 mm thick will be provided for fixing of walls panels. (b) The PUF Insulation material in the panel will have fire retarding and self extinguishing properties as per any international standard B2 DIN 410 2 Part I/ BS- 4735 Self Ext. (c) GI Metal Skin PUF Panels. (i) Thickness of Skin. 0.50mm thick hot dipped galvanized steel sheets on inner and outerside with 50 – micron thick PVC guard film on the finished surface only for protection against scratches during handling and transportation. Base metal of GI Skin CRCA as per IS-513, Galvanized as per GR -120,IS-277. (ii) The panels will be insulated with PUF Foam (Density 40 Kg + 2 Kg / cum). (d) The pre coated GI sheet should have minimum coating of 4-5 micron epoxy primer and 25 micron polyester top coat on the finished surface and 7-8 micron primer alkyd backer on backside, which is bounded to the polyurethane foam. The pre coated GI sheet should conform to IS-14246- 1995 with manufacturer test certificates conforming above specification. 7 (e) The PUF insulated core of these composite panels will have the following properties: (i) Density - 40 + 2 Kg per cum. (ii) Compressive Strength at 10% deformation - 2.10 Kg/cm2 (iii) Tensile Strength - 3.7 Kg / cm2 (iv) Bending Strength - 4.0 Kg / cm2 (v) Adhesion Strength - 2.90 Kg /c m2 (vi) Dimensional Stability (48 hours). (aa) 25 0 C - 0.10% (ab) + 38 0 C & 90% RH. - 0.10% (ac) + 100 0 C - 0.40% (ac) + 100 0 C - 0.40% (vii) Close cell content - 90 – 95% (viii) Temperature Range - (-18°0C to + 110° C) (ix) Thermal conductivity at 10°C-.018 k-cal/ m - hr0 C (Design value 0.020 kcal/ m-hr 0 C or 0.023 W/m-K) (x) Fire Resistant - (Horizontal Extent of burn BS 4735) < 125 mm. (xi) Self Extinguishing ASTM D 1692- Passes (Fire retarded foam chemical) Not easily ignitable as per BS: 476 Pt 5 Class- I as per BS: 476 pt 7 (xii) Water Absorption - 0.20% volume at 100% RH (xiii) Water Vapour Permeability - 0.08 – 0.12 gms/hr/m2 (f) The Iso-cyanate and polyol liquid components used for in situ process of polyurethane foam for panels should be accompanied with co-relating manufacture test certificate indicating batch nos, date of manufacture and expiry dates. (g) All panels will be moulded in place using the above in-situ process after placing them in a hydraulic press with heated aluminum pattern and corner moulding so as to attain the desire finish, bonding and structural properties. All panels will be manufactured in single piece as per approved panel layout drawings using the above materials and manufacturing process. (h) The consignee can carry out inspection of any panel from the lot at manufacturer premises to ensure that above chemical and physical properties. (j) Pre coloured PUF panels will have camouflage pattern on external walls and teak finish on internal wall. 8 False Ceiling (a) The false ceiling will be made up of 40 mm thick PUF insulated Panels. The Panels will bemade of 0.63 mm thick hot dipped galvanized steel sheets on both side with 40 mm thick layer of rigid CFC free close cell polyurethane foam (Density 40 Kg + 2 Kg / Cum) insulation. The false ceiling panels will be provided with tongue and groove or lip locking joint for interlocking. False ceiling will be supported with the help of inverted CRCA Tee Section 50 x 50 x 6 mm thick (4.40 Kg/Rm) and L- section of 50 x 50 x 5mm thick (3.80 Kg/Rm) fixed appropriately to the Truss. (b) Translucent multi wall polycarbonate sheet, UV protected, 5 mm thick, white colour to beprovided in false ceiling @ 33% of total false ceiling area directly below the poly carbonate roof sheet Make : PC Lite/ Lexon/ Bayer/Garware. 9 Floor Panels. The Floor panels of the shelter shall be of 60 mm thick. The panels will be made using 0.60 PPGI skin ( RAL – 9002 /9003) at the bottom and 40 mm CFC Free 44 kgs bulk density (+/- 2 kgs ) PUF Insulation in between along with 18 mm thick BWR grade plywood on top. The Floor panels will be joined using cam locks & tongue and groove arrangement produced on discontinuous panel production line. The floor top will be be provided with 2 mm thick aluminium chequered sheet fixed with suitable counter sunk screws. 10 Roof. The roof slope shall be 1:2. Roof shall be provided with 0.60 mm pre coated pre coloured steel camouflage pattern colour pre-profiled sheets with zinc coating 175 GSM conforming to IS-277 for zinc coating and IS 14246-1995 for steel component. 11 Shelter Roof. (a) The roof slope shall be 1:2 . Roof shall be provided with 0.60mm pre coated steel camouflage pattern colour with zinc coating 120 GSM conforming to IS-277 for zinc coating and IS 14246-1995 for steel component. Roofing sheets shall have minimum side overlap of one full corrugation and end overlap of minimum 150mm.The roof will have minimum projection of 300mm beyond the outer surfaces of front & rear walls. There should not be any gap at junctions of false ceiling and walls. These junctions shall be covered with suitable flashing sheet of 0.6mm thick pre-coated sheets of same colour of walls/roof .The roof sheet of size, 2.209m long and 1.00 m wide(12 Nos) will be provided. (b) 3 mm thick polycarbonate profile sheet, UV protected ER clear having similar profile as colour coated sheet of roof shall be provided for skylight, the skylight area will be 33% of total roof area. Make : PC Lite/Lexon/Bayer/Garware (Test certificate to be submitted by vendor with supply of material). 12 Ridge Cover. 0.60 mm thick pre-coated plain sheet of colour camouflage pattern colour matching with the roof sheet of size, 3.0m long and 0.60m wide(03 Nos) will be provided. All Shelter flashing shall be provided using 0.50 mm PPGI of camouflage pattern and plain colour as per the colour scheme. 13 Window (W) (08 Nos). Puff wall panels (of the specification mentioned above for the walls) to be fixed with 1.5mm thick UPVC Section 2 track sliding window of size 1100 mm x 1000 mm.UPVC sliding shutters with double insulated toughened glass (5mm toughened glass+10mm air gap using strip +5 mm toughened glass = double glass Insulated window ) along with aluminum 3mm thick grill of standard pattern Window will have proper locking arrangement and will be fixed to the wall panels using suitable screws. Window Canopy(05 Nos) Rain/sun shed of 0.60 mm thick PPGI sheet of size 1200 mm x 450 mm using angle iron frame of size 35 x 35 x 3 mm duly painted over with red oxide primer. All UPVC frame work material should conform to IS 513, 1996. All sections of UPVC frame/track shall be 2 mm thick and shall be of ISI mark. 14 Doors (D) – Size 1200 x 2100 mm – (02 No). Door outer frame shutter will be made up of suitable 2 mm thick MS section. The door internal shutter shall be of 40 mm thick Puff panel made from 0.60 mm PPGI sheet on both sides and 90 Kgs Puff density. The internal shutter will be Hanged with 3 Pcs heavy duty hinges. 2Nos aluminum aldrop of 250 mm and Aluminum tower bolts of 200 mm size from inside and 2 Nos D type handles will be provided in each shutter. 15 Ridge. Pre painted 3000mm x 600 mm x 0.6 mm ridge.(07 Nos) 16 Nut& bolt. 75mm long,12mm thick nut & bolt with washer for truss / purlin. 17 Fasteners. Each shelter shall be supplied with10% extra fasteners, nuts, bolts, screws, washers etc than actually reqd. 18 Lightening conductor and Earthing (01 set per shelter) As per store list attached at Appx D 19 Construction Materials : Construction material will be used for OR Living shelter (40 Men) as per store list attached at Appendix A. 20 Erection tools. One set each for 02 Shelters. Sample set of erection tools will be produced to inspection team and approved during pre-construction inspection. Test certificate of steel from manufacturer will be submitted. 23 User Hand Book. It will be supplied at the scale of One per shelter. The user hand book will be complete with drawings, all details of all parts of the shelters, fittings and fixtures and instructions for erection with detailed drawings. The users hand book will be supplied well in advance and got verified from this department that the parts mentioned in the hand book, their specifications and quantity are strictly and correctly as per technical specifications and the supplier has not changed the specifications. Based on the checked hand book the store will be supplied and received. 24 Stencil marking must be done with Paint on all major components and following must be written :- (a) Firm’s name. (b) Supply order No and year. (c) Name of the component. (d) Job No. 25 Details missing, if any, will be assumed and provided as per good engineering practice and will be provided by the supplier after being approved by inspection team of consignee and the rates will be inclusive of this fact.
