The pre packed components shall be mixed as per the packing ratio and applied.The Epoxy underlay shall achieve a minimum compressive strength of 60 N/mm2, flextural stength of 20 N/mm2 and tensile strength of 10N/mm2, 7 days. The underlay shall have nil water absorption when tested as per BS 1881 Part 122-1983. The over the screed apply copper tape of 100 microns thick and 25 mm width,connected to existing earth pit having spacing 10m both directions, then conductive primer coat Nitoflor SL of Fosroc or equivalent of Sika/Bostic conductive basecoat shall be appliedat a Thickness of 100 microns and then top coat of 2000 microns- NitoflorSl conductive of Fosroc or quivalent in sika/bostic shall be applied to provide approx 3x103 - 9x103 ohm surface resistance.which shall be applied in pre-weighed packs and ready to mix and use which will consist of resin, hardner,EPI (colour concentrate) formulated as specified and as directed. |

| 59 | (e)Push Button/ Proximity Switch Systems :Master panel is fitted with a pendant push button station. The pendant is mounted to the leading edge of the leaf on a cord about 2 meters long that allows the operator to move from side to side to see where the door is being driven. The pendent is hung up on a hood when not in use. The buttons themselves include “Move”, “Open Mode” (as required) and “Emergency STOP” buttons. The “Open”, “Close” and “Move” push buttons are the dead man’s type; the Emergency “STOP” button is a red mushroom-headed, “twist – to reset” type. In addition, a “Power ON” indicator lamp shall be fitted. Master Panel shall be fitted internally with an audible and visual alarm which operates at all times the “MOVE” button is pressed and for a safe period before the leaf is in motion under power. An interlock switch is fitted to the internal access panels for the drive units to prevent any leaf being used it is open. On operation OPEN/CLOSE push button, the variable speed drive control panel shall enable the doors to be started and accelerated to their running speed by a smooth & gradual increase of the speed over an interval of time. Similarly, on receiving a confirmation from the ‘Pre-final” limit/proximity switch, the panel shall automatically decrease the speed of the door smoothly & gradually from running speed to full rest. - 40 Nos. (push button 20 Nos and proximity switch 20 Nos.) |
| 60 | (f)Door Operation Safety :The following features shall be incorporated in the control system of the door: (i) The Control Panel shall be located as directed for easy operation and enable the operator to have a full view of the area during operation of the door. (ii)Buffers : Heavy duty energy absorbing buffer stops are to be designed and to be provided at the extremities of the bottom track to cushion and stop the doors coming off the end of their tracks in an emergency situation. - 20 Nos(iii) Safety Edges : In order to prevent any accident, the leaf must return to its home position in case of presence of any human being or aircraft along the line of operation of the leaf. - 20 Nos(iv) The OPEN & CLOSE Push Buttons are constant pressure (HOLD to RUN) and the EMERGENCY STOP Push Buttons is STAY PUT type and have to be twisted to release.(v) Emergency limit switch shall be provided at the extreme limits of travel just before the mechanical buffers. These emergency limit switches shall totally cut-off the control/power supply to the system in case the doors over shoot their normal limits. (vi)Audio/Visual Alarm : Master door panel shall be provided with a Flash Light cum Hooter that shall start & continue to operate during the time door is in operation. - 02 Nos(vii) Key operation: An operation key switch shall be provided on each control panel to prevent unauthorized operation of the doors. |
