    Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited ( Bescom ) Has Established Distribution Automation System For 11Kv Distribution Network In Bengaluru City. M / S. Abb, M / S Cgl And M / S Efacec Make Remote Terminal Units Are Installed In The 11Kv Distribution Network As Part Of The Das Project Work. The Rtus Installed In The Network Are More Than 10 Years Old And Has Served Das Operations. There Has Been No Maintenance Of The Rtus So Far Except That Spares Released From Other Beyond Repair Rtus Are Used To Sustain Other Rtus. The Rtus Installed Require Preventive Maintenance And Breakdown Maintenance To Sustain The Das Operations. Thus Bescom Intends To Engage Manufacturers / Agencies / Firms For The Areas Bangalore Metropolitan Area Zone For A Maintenance Contract Of The Rtus Which Will Minimise Failure Of Rtus And In Case Of Failure Of Rtus, The Problems Are Rectified Immediately And Reduce The Down Time Of Remote Devices Communicable With Das Control Room.The Scope Of Work Includes Following Activities For 1459 Nos Of Rtus.1.Preventive Maintenance Of Rtus2.Breakdown Maintenance Of Rtus3.Supply And Replacement Of Spare Parts The Numbers Of Rtus, Make Wise Are As Below;1. M / S Abb-6712. M / S Cgl-4323. M / S Efacec-356 Annual Maintenance Of Remote Terminal Units Installed Under Das Project
