| 2 | Assistance in day to day pumping operationin all shifts for smooth operation of pumps installed at quarry KOCP for the following work as per the requirement or instruction of work incharge in back shift for the following work: a) Operation of sluice valve like opening/closing of valve at the time of start/ stop or on power failure. b) Cleaning of muck/slurry near foot valve for proper pumping operation. c) Priming of pump ie filling of water without any air pocket in suction pipe, pump casing, delivery pipe upto the valve, for starting the pump.d) Assist in pump working in shifts as per the instruction of work incharge. e) Assist fitter for any minor work in pump in case of emergency.
