| 17 | IMPORTANT NOTES FOR SL ITEM NOS 1.01 To 4.08 :(i) The complete work of the lightning protection system is to be got done from the OEM or their authorized sister concern/ channel partner only.(ii) Any items missed out in the technical specification, but technically required for efficient working of the system is deemed to be included in the unit quote rates.(iii) The approximate height of installation/fixing of the 5/7 Mtr elevation pole will be varying from 3 to 10 Mtrs from Ground/FFL. Contr is required to take all the safety precautions incl any type of ladders/scaffolding work & cost of the same is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates.(iv) The contractor/firm is required to visit the site prior to quoting of the subject items/ work so as to ascertain the actual ground requirements. Any further query at a later date shall not be entertained & responsibility of the same shall rest on the contractor/ firm.(v) Comparative analysis in respect of the items wherever techno-commercially equivalent w.r.t the given Cat/Part/Model ref concerned is to be submitted to the Engr-in-Charge & GE for approval.(vi) The cost of making good the disturbed surfaces (Walls, Roofs, Pavement etc) is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rate of relevant items.(vii) Purchase Vouchers & Manufacturers test certificates to be submitted in original to the Engr-in-Charge.(viii) Design/Drawing/BOM/Technical Specifications of the complete lightning protection system showing the layout including dimensions is to be obtained from OEM strictly keeping in view the actual ground requirements & the same is to be got approved from Engr-in-Charge & GE before placing final order to the OEM.(ix) The contractor should submit a detailed Report of Test results (Air terminal, Lightning Event Counter and Grounding ) from OEM after completion of work and same is to be certified from Engr-in-Charge & GE.(x) Repair/ Servicing / Preventive & Breakdown maintenance of the complete lightning protection system is to be got donefrom the OEM/ Sister Concern/ Channel partner only by the contractorfor the entire defect liability period i.e two years from the certified date of completion & the cost of the same is deemed to be included in the unit quote rates.(xi) Testing at an interval of 6 months of the entire lightning protection system is to be got done from the OEM/ Sister Concern/ Channel Partner only by the contractor & report submitted accordingly to the Engr-in-Charge for the entire defect liability period & and the cost of the same is deemed to be included in the unit quote rates. |
| 18 | Taking down old unsv/damage lighting protection materia;s of mesh network type etc. incl making good the disturbed surfces even & smooth & matching to the existing/original surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.Note: The approximate height of exisitng mesh network type LPS will be from 3 to 10 Mtrs from Ground/FFL Contr is required to take all the safety precautions incl any type of laders/scafolding work & cost of the same is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates. |
