| 1 | Determination of soil bearing capacityas per IS:1892 (Latest revision) .Bore hole dia shall be 150 mm. Depth of bore shall be decided as per the soil condition and may be taken 15m or N value reaches 50, whichever is earlier. Under this test following results also be provided : (i) Grain size analysis, identification & classification of soil (ii) Unit weight (bulk density), natural moisture content, liquid limit, plastic limit, Shrinkage limit, Plasticity index, specific gravity. (iii) Dry density, degree of saturation of soil (iv) Free swelling index & swelling pressure if expansive soil is encountered. (v) Shear parameters (C- ? analysis). (vi) Consolidation test & permeability test (vii) Depth of water table below ground level (viii) Presence of loose soil, if any and its depth. (ix) If weak soil with lesser N value as specification in table- 1 of IS 1893 (Part-) 2016 is encountered then evaluation of liquefaction potential shall be assessed and remedial action to be adopted shall be specified. (x) SPT test shall be done at 1.0 m interval.(xi) Recommendation for filling under floor and filling under protection including plinth protection.(xii) For open foundation, calculation of net SBC at 1.5 m, 2 m, 2.5 m, 3.0 m from shear as well as settlement criteria. SBC values shall be calculated based on C- ? analysis as well as SPT value. For calculation formula given in IS 6403 shall be used.(xii) If pile foundation are required the depth of pile shall be mentioned and pile capacity in compression, uplift & lateral load shall be given for 300, 400, 450, 500 dia for under reamed piles & for 450, 500, 550, 600 mm dia for long piles.(xiv) Recommendations regarding type of foundation to be adopted & net SBC/pile capacity to be adopted. Also, recommendation shall be given regarding stability of soil and soil stabilization required, if any.(xv) Borehole position duly marked on plan and their distance from adjacent prominent reference points.Plan size of bldgs. shall also be marked in the plan. This plan shall be signed by GE, AGE & soil consultant.(xvi) Undisturbed soil sample shall be collected at 1.5 m interval and at change of strata (xvii) K-value of soil 0.5 m depth required in case of swimming pool and water retaining structure (xviii) Modulus of subgradereaction (xix) Direct shear test on disturbed soil sample. |

| 7 | Carrying out digital topographical land surveyingusing Electronic total station of high precision, showing all existing details like Bldgs, boundary wall/fencing for each unit, road, electric pole, light pole, transformer, tree, earth pit, paver block, dust bin, water tank, post, plinth level and existing drain with invert level, existing main sewage line, spot level at 5m x 5m grid and contour intervalat 0.50 m, making of bench marks and temporary bench marks including necessary site clearance and clearing away of all vegetation outside periphery of the area as directed by GE, submission of 10 Nos of coloured drawings in hard copy in good quality paper as approved by GEin autocad format alongwith one soft copy on compact disk (CD) . NOTES :-(i) Color photograph on A4 size photo paper of the site with locations of the bore holes duly flagged should be submitted.The photographs should also preferably include any reference structure and the identification of the same be marked. (ii) Soil testing report complete in all respect to be submitted in proper binding formin 06x copies with specific recomendations |
