2Cutting in earth work and disposal of excavated earth up to lead of 20 mtrs. in all kinds of soil in pick work, Jumper work and blasting work complete in all respect as per the direction and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge in all leads and lifts.
3Excavationin foundations, trenches etc., in earth work , lift up to 1.50 metres stacking the excavated soil not more then 3 metres clear from the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15 cm layers, when required in to plinths , sides of foundations etc., consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth as directed within a lead of 20 metres in pick jumper work complete in all respect as per the direction and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge in all leads and lifts.
4Excavation in foundation, trenches ( for pipes & pits) up to all depths in all classiCSfication of earth work such as pick work, jumper work, saturated soil including bailing or pumping out water, blasting soft/hard rock or chieselling soft/hard rock where blasting is prohibited in all lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, leveling of beds to correct grade i/c shoring/strutting, planking, timbering & dewatering where ever required, stacking the useable & unusable material/soil separately & after laying jointing & testing of pipes, returing the useable soil in trenches in 15cm layers including consolidating of such deposited layer by ramming & watering & then disposing of all surplus excavated soil/unusable material as directed with in all leads and lifts including restoration unmetalled surface to its original condition & including cost of diversion for traffic, night signals boards, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fenCSng etc. complete in all respects with in all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer in charge.
