12Disconnecting the electrical and mechanical connections of motor, and taking out motor,15 HP capacity at Solan Pump House. Transporting the same to an authorized workshop for following repairs:-(a) Dismantling burnt AC 3 Phase, 50 Hz,motor, 15 HP taking out all coils and re-winding the motor complete with same gauge of wire and same nos of turns. Heating, Baking and varnishing the winding complete. Re-assembling the motor and fixing back in position all as directed by Engr-in-Charge and recommended by the manufacturer.

41Taking out existing earthings and M&L for replacement of chemical earthing (Pipe in pipe technology) Two B class IS mild steel pipe, one inside the other, hot dip galvanised with 100 micron coating outside and about 300 micron coating inside filled with high conductive and corrosion Resistant Crystalline Mixture inside and Backfill compound around the outer electrode) outer electrode dia 72 to 80mm and inner electrode dia 35 to 40 mm both 10" long, incldg making earth pit of size 4" x 4" and 11" deep fill the entire pit with black cotton soil or normal soil, pour enough water so that pit is full with water, leave it for three days so that soil soaks up the water, the soil level has goes down, again top up the pit with soil & fill the water.After two or three days when the pit is sturdy and ready for earthing purpose, install the earthing electrode as per installation method as below:-(a) Mix backfill compound evenly with soil.(b) Remove plastic sleeve carefully from electrode.(c) Place naked electrode at centre of pit.(d) Start refilling empty space around electrode with backfill compound in layers. (e) Pour some water and poke the pit with a long wooden rod to allow trapped air to escape.(f) Gradually continue refilling process till electrode is buried in the pit up to the green patch painted on the top portion of electrode.(g)Ensure that pit is not watery (h) Pack electrode with compound nicely and tightly, so that it stands firmly in pit.(j)Pour a few buckets of water around pit.(k)Pour a few buckets of water around in the pit everday for 10-15 days for system to set.(l)Connect the earth electrode with equipments by 25mm x 3mm aluminium strip.(m)Earthing test point terminal block made of gun metal size 150x100x50 mm drilled and screwed including 4 Nos 8 mm dia 40 mm long hexagonal head bolts and washers duly fixed on walls with fasteners 4 Nos. Note : (a) Earth resistance shall not be more than 5 Ohm.(b) Aluminium strip for connections shall be measured and paid separately.
42Taking out existing earthings and M&L for replacement of "Earthing complete withand including galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 cmx 60cm x 6 mm thick surrounded by mixtureof charcoal and salt in alternate layers ,buried directly in ground vertically in a pit of depth not less than 2.25 meter deep below ground level with top as of the plate at a depth of not less than 1.5 mtrs below normal ground level connected to equipment by using GI strips of size 32x6 mm as earthing lead by means of bolts ,nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel earth wire protected by galvanised steel pipe 15 mm bore (light grade)and 20mm bore "Light" grade GI watering pipe connected to main switch or main control boardor GOD or lightening arrester all as shown in electrical plate No. 3of SSR - 2009(Pt I) & including necessary excavation and earth work. The rate also include charcoal and salt in alternate layers, 20 mm bore GI pipe (Light grade ) for watering , protection pipe funnel, wire mesh , PCC 1:2:4 type B1 chamber in cement concrete ,50 mm thick precast RCC M-25 ( Design mix) cover duly reinforced with XPM (weight not less than 3 kg /sqm ) and CI frame etc , and including provision of test point , connecting to test point and testing on completion etc, complete all as specified. NOTE : The unit rate include earthing lead and protection pipe upto 7.5 metre from top of earth plate.
