4Excavation for roadwork in soil by manual/mechanical means including cutting , trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections, including breaking of clods and disposal within ROW as per technical clause 301 of MORT&H specifications.(HSR 17.74)
5Compaction of & preparation of sub grade including loosening, levelling of earth 225 mm thick top layer, rough dressing of soil, final dressing of earth to give level, camber, watering, rolling with road roller, compacting the bed to achieve minimum dry density as given in the Table 3000-2 as per technical clause 305 of MORT&H specifications (HSR 17.5.3)
6Preparation of berms including filling of Earth work, excavation and cutting of earth in all kind of soils including dressing the bank, side slope to given levels and templates after breaking of clouds, including the cost of rolling and watering all allowances for labour hardness wetness irrespective of all lead and lift and including Compensation for earth taken from private land, fields etc. and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MoRT&H specification clause No. 30 and to entire satisfaction of the Engineer of the work confirming to PWD specification No. 6.2 and 6.3 and 3.2 and the other specification 1990 Ist edition. As per X-section. This item also includes E/W if required in sub grade for Widening and Shoulder. Earth used for sub grade, shoulder and berms should have minimum CBR 8%. Note:- No earth work will be allowed to be taken from PWD B&R/ROW except for surplus earth after approval from Engineer.
7Providing and laying 150mm thick granular sub base consisting of filter layer confirming to Table 400.1 Grading-I of MoRD specification, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mix material to the site of work, spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared suface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve desired density complete as per clause No. 401 of MoRD specification-2004. Note: - 1.Only crushed stone metal material should be used. No local earth sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by engineer.
8Stabilized Sub Base:Providing, Laying, Spreading and Compacting in-situ/borrow area soil of with CBR 8% mixed with 40% crushed aggregate / GSB Grade 2 as per mix design. Application: (1) Spread, rip and loosen soil with excavator / tractor operated ripper and scarify with tractor operated rotavator to achieve desired thickness. Mix aggregates 40% as per mix design in soil.(2) Spread Cement 3% by weight of soil & aggregate mix and scarify with rotavator for mixing thoroughly. (3) Apply 0.60 kg /cumorganosilane Nanotechnologyand 0.60 kg /cum nano acrylic copolymer mixed in OMC water (<1000 ppm TDS) on loose soil-aggregate-cement mixes. Scarify the treated material with rotavator and grade it with grader and do light compaction with vibratory compactor. (4) Compact the stabilized soil-cement-aggregate base with 8 to 10 tonne vibratory roller to achieve the desired density.Rates include all material, labour, hire charges of machinery etc. as per MoRD specifications & direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
9Stabilized Base:Providing, Laying, Spreading and Compacting in-situ/borrow area soil of CBR 8% mixed with 40% crushed aggregate / GSB Grade 2 as per mix design. Application: (1) Spread, rip and loosen soil with excavator / tractor operated ripper and scarify with tractor operated rotavator to achieve desired thickness. Mix aggregates 40% as per mix design in soil.(2) Spread Cement 5% by weight of soil & aggregate mix and scarify with rotavator for mixing thoroughly. (3) Apply 0.8 kg /cumorganosilane Nanotechnologyand 0.8 kg /cum nano acrylic copolymer mixed in OMC water (<1000 ppm TDS) on loose soil-aggregate-cement mixes. Scarify the treated material with rotavator and grade it with grader and do light compaction with vibratory compactor. (4) Compact the stabilized soil-cement-aggregate base with 8 to 10 tonne vibratory roller to achieve the desired density.Rates include all material, labour, hire charges of machinery etc. as per MoRD specifications & direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
10Waterproofing on top compacted ( as per relevant MoRD specification) sub Grade soil base, shoulders with Organosilane Nanotechnology & nano acrylic co-polymer with water (<1000 ppm TDS) in the ratio of 1 kg Organosilane Nanotechnology: 1 kg nano acrylic co-polymer : 200 liter water spray @ 3 liter /sqm in two spray applications (1.5 liter + 1.5 liter) as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
11Providing & laying 75/150 mm thick (Compacted) stone metal (G-III) 53mm to 22.4mm gauge wearing coat to water bound macadam in layer of 75mm eachusing screening type ‘B’ compacting with three wheeled power rollers of 80-100 kN capacity or tandem or vibratory of 80-100 kN static weigth to achieve the desire density including lighting, guarding barricading and maintenance of diversion etc. as perclause no 405 of MoRD specification for Rural Roads-2004) as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects.(N.S.)Note: - 1.Only crushed stone metal material should be used. No local earth/ natural occurring sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI).2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by engineer.
12Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-I) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer mix including silane at the rate of 0.60 kg/sqm using mechanical means asper Technical specification clause 502 of MoRD specification Rural roads-2004. Instructions issued from time to time by MoRD regarding bitumen emulsion will be followed strictly. Note:- Bituminous Macadam to be laid with in 24 Hrs. of laying primer coat & Tack coat does not required to be provided above the primer coat. However, if the BM is not laid with in 24 hours of laying prime coat then tack coat would have to be provided by the contractor but no payment at the same shall be made and it would be incidental to work.
13Providing and applying Tack coat of VG 10 ( 80/100 grade) bitumen using bitumen @ 0.25 kg per sqmall inclusive including clearing and blowing dust off the surface using a compressor and brooms ( conforming to clause 503 of MoRD specification-2004) for PC. Instructions issued from time to time by MoRD regarding bitumen VG-10 will be followed strictly.
14Pdg& laying 50mm BM using the reclaimed material to the extent of 30% of the required quantity, hauling and stockpiling the reclaimed material near the central recycling plant after carrying out necessary checks and evaluation, adding fresh material including rejuvenators as required, mixing in100-120 TPH batch hot mix plant, with appropriate arrangement for use of R.A.P., transporting and laying at site with hydraulic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade and compacting to the required grade level and thickness with appropriate rollers all as specified in clause 519 (5th Revision) of 2013 using bitumen VG-30. (minimum Bitumen\"s 3.40% i/c bitumen of retrieved material as per job mix formula).Note: -1. The milled material to be used in BM shall be minimum 80% of the theoretical quantity. of material 2. If bitumen required more than 3.40% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be paid extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work.3. Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & Stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS-6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti-stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and noting extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-Charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor.
15Providing and Laying 50 mm thick Compacted bituminous macadam in (BM) in one layer by 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant and paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade level, alignment and rolling with appropriate roller specified as per clause No. 504 table No. 500-4 of MoRD specification using minimum 3.4 % bitumen grade VG-30 as binder content by weight of total mix, complete in all respects i/c cost of bitumen, instruction issued from time to time by MoRD regarding machinery & bitumen will be followed strictly. The use of self propelled mechanical paver fitted with electronic sensor device conforming to MoRD specification in mandatory.If bitumen required is this account more than 3.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Note: - 1. Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & Stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS-6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. 16Providing, laying and rolling of open - graded premix surfacing of 20 mm thickness composed of crushed stone aggregates of specified grading premixed in a continuous type of hot mix plant of appropriate capacity not less not less than75 tonne per hour, with bituminous binder VG - 10 @ 1.46 kg per sqm, laid with Paver Finisher Mechanical androlling with a smooth wheeled roller 8-10 tonne capacity, finished to required level and grades complete as per MoRD specification clause 508. NOTE- Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & Stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS-6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. 17Providing and laying ‘B’ type seal coat with VG-10 grade bitumen @ 0.68 kg per sqm of road excluding cost of tack coat, with mixed material brought from Hot mix plant and laying with paver finisher and compacting with road roller to achieve specified/desirable value of compaction as per direction of Engineer including cost of lighting arrangement, sign board and night watch, complete in all respect as per clause 510 of MoRD specification for rural roads 2004.
18Removal of existing CC Block pavement including transporting and stacking usable block along road side and dispose unusable blocks outside PWD land or as desired by Engineer. (HSR 17.67).
19Relaying of available (removed and stacked)C.C. Block M-30 Size 450x300x150mm and spreading 25mm thick sand underneath filling joints with sand as per technical specification clause 1503.(HSR 17.68)
20Manufacturing, laying of table vibrator cement concrete blocks of size 450mm X300mm X 150mm of cement concrete(C.C) M-30 grade and spreading 25mm thick sand under neath and filling joints with sand on existing base as per Technical specification Clause 1503 of MoRD specification for Rural roads 2004.
21Providing & Marking center line / side line 2.5mm thick (minimum) with Hot Applied Thermoplastic Compound with Reflectorising Glass Beads on Bituminous Surface Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including Reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35 .The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes.Note: - Before start of work the contractor shall give brand, batch number, manufacturing date of the material to be used along with a photocopy of bill duly signed by the contractor and get approved the same from Engineer-In-Charge before use. (Based on HSR.34.26)
22Providing and laying 600mm dia reinforced cement concrete pipe NP-4 for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1 :2 but excluding excavation, protection works, backfilling, concrete and masonry works in head walls and parapetsas per clause 2900 of MORT&H specifications Note: - Contractor shall supply bill of manufacture of pipes. Pipes should bear name of manufacturer and ISI mark along with bill duly valid ISI certificate of manufacturer should be supply. Without these bills certificate no payment shall be released. (HSR.17.61.1)
23Providing & fixing Reinforced cement concrete M-25 grade precast 5th kilometre stone of standard design as per IRC:8-1980, fixing in position including painting and printing etc complete as per technical clause 804 of MORTH Specifications (HSR.34.27.1)

34Supplying and fixing of single mould twin shank reflective road studs (cat eyes) made out of poly carbonate/ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face with retro reflectance and chromaticity values@ ASTM E 809 & ASTM D 4280. The detailed specifications and the product shall conform to ASTM D4280 and ASTM E 809. The raised pavement marker shall also meet all the testing conditions of ASTM D4280 like abrasion resistance and fixed to the road surface using the epoxy adhesive. Two cylindrical polymer shanks of not less than 20 mm diameter and not less than 30 mm length shall be moulded in the RPM body. The marker shall support a load of 13635 Kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. The marker shall withstand flexural strength of 909 kgf force in accordance with ASTM D4280. Marker lenses shall be moulded of Polycarbonate or methyl Methacrylate conforming to ASTM D788. The supplier shall provide a 2 years warranty for satisfactory field performance as per clause804.7.3 of MORT&H 5th revision specifications (HSR.34.34)
35Providing and laying in position ready mixed M-15 grade plain cement concrete @ 240 kg/cum with cement content as per approved design mix and manufactured in fully automatic batching plant and transported to site of work in transit mixer for all leads, having continuous agitated mixer, manufactured as per mix design of specified grade for plain cement concrete work, including pumping of R.M.C. from transit mixer to site of laying and curing, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing, including cost of curing, admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS : 9103 to accelerate/ retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.(HSR.6.22.2.2) (Note: - Cement content considered in this item is @ 240 kg/cum.
