1Maintenance & repairing of 24 Fibre OPGW installed at 220 KV Phulpur-Sarangapur Line under ETD-I, Prayagraj The job includes the following works.
2Measurement of transmission loss between light receiving level and terminal station with a power meter and also mesurement of al loss in connection with a part a due to OTDR, and local loss increase in the line.
3Visual inspection of external apperance with the naked eye or binocular for following check points and rectification accordingly.1.If there is any unsual abrasion on the moving part of hanging clamp. 2.Status of OPGW in regard with corrosion and for allowable bending radius.
4Visual inspection of external apperance with the naked eye or binocular inside the fibre optic joint box for following check points and rectification accordingly.1.If moisture penetration of dew condensation is observable.2.If rust of corrosion is observable. 3.Any abnormality in the arrangement of housing tray and optical fiber installation into it.4.If those is any bolt coming loose or missing.
5Splicing of OPGW.
