| 1 | M & L for comprehensive repairs, servicing and overhauling of Deisel Engine Generating set of following capacities by conducting following major activities :-(a) Disconnecting of the engine parts such as radiator, Fuel injecting pump, self exiting system, water pump etc.(b) Replacement of unserviceable/ wornout spares.(c) Repairing of engine exhaust by welding/ tightening to make it leak proof (c) Replacement of unserviceable/ wornout gasket, rubber \"O\" rings, copper washer, oil seal (d) Re-assembling Deisel Engine Generating set, checking functionbility, testing and re-comissioning complete all as sepcified and directed. (e) Cleaning of fuel tank both internally and externally by removing all the dust/ sediments.(f) Complete degreasing, preparation of old painted surface of the DG Set including radiator, fuel tank etc spray painting the same with two coats of approved heat resistant synthetic enamel paint including writing of SM/ MES Nos on DG Set, writing fuel tank capacity, date of cleaning of tank and next due date for tank to be cleaned.Notes :(a) Worn out/ unserviceable spares, asbestos rope for engine exhaust pipe to be replaced during repairs, servicing and overhauling shall be measured and paid as Supply only under respective items here-in-after.(b)Individual repairs to serviceable parts of Deisel Engine Generating set catered against various items here-in-after shall be deemed to be excluded from quoted rates against this item and shall be measured and paid under against respective items separately.(c)Cost of replacement of unserviceable/ wornout gasket, rubber \"O\" rings, copper washer, oil seal and similar minor items such as nuts, bolts, washers etc shall be deemed to be included in quoted rates against this item.(d) Cost of consumables like grease, lubricating oils etc shall also be deemed to be included in quoted rates against this item. |
