| 13 | Laying, jointing and testing in trenches of GMS pipe as per IS 1239-2001 below mentioned dia in random length 5-6 mtrs. and jointed with flanged after every 100 mtrs. and remaining other with circumferencial butt welded joints pipes including cost ofbends of all degrees as per dimensions weight and test pressure mentioned below in a random length of 5m-6m, The M.S. flanges are to be provided as per table below conforming to IS: 6392-1971 (latest upto date amendments) and welding of flanges with pipes as per IS: 816-1965 with a electrode as per IS: 814-1967 including required Nos. and size of M.S. nut and bolts as per IS: 1369-1967 and reinforced fiber jointing gaskets sheet not less than 3mm thick sas per IS: 2712-1965. The welding of flanges to be done on both faces in two layers to make the joints leak proof and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. The laying of pipes should be conformed to IS: 5822-1994 (earth work in trenches to measured and paid seprately) .The IS and other relevant sepecification shall be followed. |
