PMM should be prepared by mixing one of the following compounds in Cement Mortar 1:3 as per manufacturer’s instructions: -(i) Pidicrete URP of M/S Pidilite. (ii) Sika Latex of M/S Sika. (iii) Nitobond SBR Latex of M/S FOSROC. (c) PMM surface should be allowed to dry for one day. After that it should painted with two coats of one of the following compound mixed with cement only in ratio of 1 (selected compound) : 1:5 (Cement) : - (i) Pidicrete URP of M/S Pidilite. (ii) Sika Latex of M/S Sika. (iii) Nitobond SBR Latex of M/S FOSROC. (d) Now apply two coats of one of the following compound over the surface. These compounds are to be used as per manufacturer’s instructions: - (i) Pidifin 2K of M/S Pidilite. (ii) Brush Coat of M/S Sika. (iii) Brush Bond of M/S FOSROC. NOTE : - Both coats should be perpendicular to each other and gap between two coats shall be minimum 6 hours. (e) Sprinkle loose coarse sand after second coat while surface is tacky. NOTE: - (i) The item will be executed by authorized applicator only of the selected / approved company. Contractor shall submit details of authorised applicator for approval of GE before commencement of work in respect of above item. (ii) Every stage of work will be approved by GE, then only next layer will be executed by contractor. |
