5Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity testConducting Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity Test by Direct / Semi-Direct / Indirect method as required as per IS 516 (Part 5/Sec 1) - 2018, removing of plaster at test location, marking the points, including making surface smooth by grinding, applying suitable coupling agents and measuring the temperature of concrete at every test location. Machine shall be calibrated with calibration rod or by making zero adjustment on the machine before taking site readings. Applying appropriate correction factors for temperature, moisture, stress ( if core testing is carried out along with UPV test ), reinforcement etc. ; including all lead, lift, transportation but without scaffolding &de-watering etc. etc. complete.

15Rebound Hammer Test:Conducting Rebound Hammer test on concrete including marking of points, removing of plaster/tiles/water proofing at test location, making concrete surface smooth by grinding if required. The final rebound number reading of the location shall comprise of average of minimum nine readings. The rebound hammer shall have Anvil calibration reading marked on the hammer with calibration date, including all lead, lift, transportation but without scaffolding &de-watering etc. complete. 25Diamond Core cutting of concrete with surface treatment, compression testing Extracting concrete cores of various diameter ( 60 to 100 mm ) from the RCC / PCC by diamond core drilling machine. The reinforcement shall be detected before cutting concrete and as far as possible reinforcement shall be avoided in the core. The core diameter to length ratio shall be normally between 1.0 to 2.0 (preferably 2.0) the core diameter shall be at least three times the nominal maximum size of aggregate. The both ends ofcylindrical concrete cores to be made smooth and flat by cutting the core ends with diamond blades or grinding. Alternatively cores may be capped with suitable material. Cap shall be as thin as practicable. The strength of capping material shall be higher than that of concrete in the core.The specimen shall be cured in water for minimum of 40 hours to maximum of 48 hours before testing, and then testing for compressive strength with controlled rate of loading as per IS code, including all lead, lift, transportation but without scaffolding &de-watering etc. complete. The report shall include information such as Dia. of core, height of core, H/D ratio, Correction factor for H / D, Correction factor for Diameter, True Crushing Load, Compressive Strength of core cylinder, Equivalent Cube strength as per IS code - IS 516 ( Part 4) . In addition to the core test, before crushing, the UPV test shall be performed on core sample in dry condition and in saturated surface dry condition. Similarly Rebound hammer test shall be performed on core sample before crushing in saturated surface dry condition. These readings are to be used while predicting the combined strength of concrete by Rebound Hammer test and UPV test. The cost of Rebound hammer and UPV test over core sample to be included in this item

47Carbonation Test on RCC Core samples Measurement of depth of carbonation by spraying Phenolphthalein 1%indicator solutiononextracted concrete core samples, the concrete which turns colourless is treated as carbonated concrete and the concrete which turn into pink colour is treated as un-carbonated concrete; including all lead, lift, transportation but without scaffolding & de-watering etc. complete. At the test location i.e. at the core location a depth of cover concrete to the main reinforcement also shall be measured with rebar locators. The report shall include, test location, age of structure,core diameter, mean and maximum Carbonation depth (mm), Main Bar Cover (mm) , Weather conditions such as Avg yearly humidity at the site, Avg yearly temperature at the site, exposure to CO2 concentration / Acidic fumes at the site, Exposure Condition (Sheltered / Exposed to rain) , Type of Hydrophobic treatment given to concrete member and testing time ( Hr:mm)and photos of core showing carbonation depth.
48Sulphate & Chloride Content in Concrete Core samples Calculating and reporting the Total water-soluble Sulphate content of the concrete mix, expressed as SO3, by mass of the cement in the mix. ( Assume cement content as 350 Kg/Cum ) &Maximum Total Acid Soluble Chloride Content expressed as (Kg / m3) of concrete. Appropriate chemical analysis / test method shall be used to find out Chloride & Sulphate. The samples in powder form for both the tests shall be collected form the core sample ( after completion of compression test on core sample), at a distance of 25 to 40 mm from the face of concrete member
49Half Cell Potential Test for Corrosion MappingConducting Half-Cell potentiometer test as per ASTM – C – 876 by Copper- Copper sulphate cell, for assessing the probability of the corrosion activity in RCC Members and Reinforced masonry walls. Detecting& opening of reinforcement at one point to connect the one end of voltmeter to reinforcement. If concrete is dry and if readings are not stable it shall bemade wet either by spraying or wetting the member with pre-wetting solution as per ASTM – C – 876. For Brick Piers & RCC beams readings ( test points ) shall be taken at every 1000 mm c/c and that for RCC slab, Brick walls readings shall be taken on grid of 1000 x 1000 mm.; including removing of plaster at test location, measurement of temperature of test half-cell for every reading, at all lead, lift, transportation but without scaffolding & de-watering etc. complete.The test report shall include data about temperature, corrections for temperature, pre-wetting condition, equi-potential contour maps.

73Phased array Ultrasonic Tomography with roller Scanning Scanner 3D images and TomographyUsing ultrasonic rolling scanning system consisting of eight element transducers that are assembled in two separate rollers used in transmission (Tx) and receiver (Rx) pitch catch mode to analyze defects in concrete structures.The ultrasonic transducers should be able to transmit signals in three central frequencies around 50, 100 and 150 kHz with a total bandwidth of 30-225 kHzusing dry coupling materials (elastomer) and shall provides 3-D real time images along with B, C, and D-scan tomographic views with high resolution. The system shall use the SAFT (Synthetic Aperture Focusing Technique) algorithm for image reconstruction. The rotational encoder shall track the distance of scan from a marked starting point. The penetration depth for concrete should be up to 2m depending on the condition of the concrete. It should be able to estimate the acoustic velocity in the concrete, which is related to the elastic parameter and compressional strength (quality) of the concrete. The system should be able to detect and locate Concrete defects such as Voids, Honeycombing, cracks and delaminations, detect tendon ducts &pipes and estimation of rebar location and concrete thickness.Testing pattern - The grid spacing shall be of 100 x 100 mm or as per manufacturers specifications. The ultrasonic tomography data acquisition to be done in panoramic mode without leaving any space between two subsequent / adjoining scans. The data to be processed in suitable software and slices to be provided.The overall mapping of the results to be over layered over the structural member under test along with the position marking of the test patch with (X, Y) Coordinate.

78Excavation & Backfilling of Foundation SoilEarthwork in any kind of soil, mud, soft / hard murum and alike up to 3m depth - - Earth work in excavation for any foundations, rafts, trenches, bulk excavation, surface excavation etc. by manual / mechanical means, including removal of bolders size upto 500 mm wide, dewatering by any means, timbering / shoring / strutting if required, preparing the bottom for foundation bed, trimming the sides, back filling in required layers and levels& compaction of approved excavated earth in layers not exceeding 150 mm, disposal ofexcavated earth, lead upto 500m, lift upto 1.5m, disposed earth to be neatly dressed and levelled or stacked as directed by Engineer-In-Charge - (Plan Measurement for foundations shall be Outer PCC Dimention + 300mm as allownace all around). Including backfilling & compaction of excavated soil.

The strengthening / Retrofitting for original deficiencies in not considered in the scope.
