| 2 | Refilling the pipeline/foundation trenches, plinth sides, foundation, etc.with available excavated earth in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth consolidating each layer by ramming and watering lead upto 50m and all lifts and disposal of surplus earth as directed. |
| 3 | Supplying and filling approved earth / hard soil obtained from contractor\"s identified source inclusive of obtaining all requisites statuatory approvals & observing all the security measures, with all lead and lifts, transporting to site, spreading, grading the earth/hard soil in layers not exceeding 250 mm loose layers, breaking clods & compacting including watering each layer to bring it upto to optimum moisture content followed by rolling with 8-10 MT roller and every third as well as topmost layer by mechanical vibratory roller to attain dry field density not less than 95% of maximum dry density (Procter Test). The cost of the tests, determination of settlement of natural ground by approved method and cost towards obtaining statutory approvals for cutting/borrowing the earth shall be borne by the contractor) |
