The Punch Tap And The Core Wire Should Be Electro Galvanized To Provide Protection Against The Outdoor Exposure. The Punch Tap Should Be Mechanically Crimped Over The Core Wire And Then Formed Into A Coil. At Various Parts Of The Periphery Of The Coil , The Individual Turns Of The Coil Should Be Connected To Each Other By Steel Clips So That It Can Be Opened Up Like An Accordion . Two Handles And One Spike Should Be Provided At Each Side Of The Spiral To Facilitate Ease Of Handling. The Length Of The Obstacle Formed B Y The One Coil When Opened Should Be 15 M With An Effective Height Of 915 Mm. Weight Of One Concertina Coil Should Be 15.2 Kg +- 5%. Each Coil Should Be Wound With Bituminized Hessian Cloth To Provide Protective Packing.
