3In Soft and decomposed rock - This shall include rock, boulders, slag, chalk, slate, hard mica schist, laterite and all other materials which in the opinion of Engineer is rock, but does not need blasting (Blasting Prohibited) and could be removed with picks, hammer, crow bars, wedges, and pneumatic breaking equipment. This shall also include excavation in macadam and tarred roads and pavements. This shall alsoincluderockbouldersnotlongerthan 1 metre in any direction and not more than 500 mm in any one of the other two directions. From 0.00m upto 1.50m depth below Average Ground Level

5In hard rock-This excavation shall be carried out mechanically using hydraulic excavators, pneumatic breaking equipments, JCB, Poclains as directed. Under this category shall fall quartzite, granite, basalt, plain & reinforced cement concrete (reinforcement to be cut through but not separated from concrete) foundation, masonry or any other hard material etc. From 1.50 m upto 3.00 m depth below Average Natural Ground Level
6Extra over item 5 for every 1.5 m extra depth or part thereof to a maximum of 12 m below Average Ground Level
7Disposal / Stacking of excavated materials (all kinds of soil, rock, boulders, concrete or any other excavated materials) to disposal ground (Within the DAE Premises) for lead up to 4km(as specified below) & all lifts including stacking / spreading in layers, breaking earth clods & rock clusters,leveling, disposing the soil by mechanical transport, loading / unloading etc. complete from the site of excavation to the place of disposition all as directed by the Engineer.

12Provding and constructing brick work in Cement mortar 1:4 using standard bricks of approved class/ quality, make or brand and crushed sand in foundation and plinth including curing, raking out joints, simultaneous pointing below plinth level if specified, complete as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in charge
13Providing 12 mm thick waterproof plastering in cement mortar 1:4 with a floating coat of neat cement including approved water proofing compound added @ 2% by weight of cement or as per manufacturer"s specifications, sieving of sand to required fineness, preparation of surface, scaffolding at all heights, curing all as per specifications, drawings and as directed at site.
14Providing and applying two part food grade polyamide cured solvent less epoxy lining in two coats of minimum 400 micron DFT over dry, clean and dust free surafe of water reating structures. This coat shall be applied by airless spray technique or suitable method andas per specifications & drawings.
15Providing and laying in position cement concrete of 1:4:8 (1 cement, 4 crushed sand, 8 graded stone aggregate of maximum size 20 / 40 mm) including consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete as per specifications and drawings but excluding the cost of shuttering, centering complete at all levels complete
16Providing and laying in position cement concrete of 1:3:6 (1 cement, 3 crushed sand, 6 graded stone aggregate of maximum size 20 mm) including consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete as per specificationsand drawings but excluding the cost of form work shuttering, centering complete at all levels

20Treatment of construction joints by cutting of green concrete when in final set condition using approved air water jet at a suitable pressure in early age concrete including removal of laitance, draining the water from the air jet after the joint cutting process, treating the construction joint using surface retarding solvent free poly-hydroxyl chemical agent by removing the cement-sand matrix upto 5 to 7mm depthwith an air water jet having pressure of 7 kg per Sqm., wire brushing, cleaningetc. complete all as per specifications and directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
21Providing and laying in position Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) of grade M-20 using 20mm maximum size aggregates and crushed sand of approved quality including admixtures of approved brand and quality (plasticisers / super plasticisers), weigh batching, mechanical mixing, transporting, placing, vibrating, consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and reinforcement complete as per specifications
22Providing and fixing Reinforcement Steel confirming to IS 1786 for RCC works at all levels including supplying, preparation of bar bending schedules, cutting, bending, transporting, fixing, tieing in position with binding wire, all labour charges, cost of cover blocks in specified grade of concrete etc. complete as per specifications and drawings using TMT bars of specified grades all dia bars. TMT bars to be supplied by the contractor manufactured by M/s SAIL, M/s RINL, M/s TATA, M/s JSPL, M/s JSW Steel or approved brands of BARC
23Providing and fixing in position tapered / parallel threaded Tension Compression Mechanical Couplers for 25 mm dia rebars conforming to IS code on “Reinforcement Couplers for Mechanical Splices of Bars for Concrete Reinforcement - Specification”.The couplers shall have bar break properties for 100% Tension and compression joints as per manufacturer"s specifications and as per the direction of the Engineer. The item shall include all operations and arrangements such as threading with manufacturer"s machines and operators, enlargement at connection by forging, provision of bar caps to protect the threads on rebar and related operations and arrangements as required for completing the work.

37Providing, laying , jointing, fixing and testing heavy quality (ISI Marked C-Class) Galvanised Iron pipes and ISI marked fittings like, tees, elbows, bends, unions, nipples,reducers etc. as required for the work, including testing the pipes and fittings for 10.00 Kg / Sq.Cm hydralic pressure with a minimum period of two hours duration with clean water, including cutting , threading, jointing with hemp yarn, white lead, jointing teflon tape, chasing walls and making good by filling with concrete 1:3:6, complete all as per specifications and drawings, including two coats of anti corrosive bitumastic paint, all as directed by the Engineer-incharge. 47Conducting Water tightness test in accordance with IS : 3370 (Part 1) : 2009 & and Appendix G of AERB/SS/CSE-1 (AERB CODE) for water retaining structures including all labour, materials, tools, equipment, services, patching and repair as required to meet watertightness requirements, all supplementary or miscellaneous appurtenances incidental for testing purpose. The net volume of water occupied by the structure shall be measured for payment.The waterrequired for carrying out the test shall be arranged by the Contractor.
