1Excavation in foundation and trenches in earth work in all heights and depth in allkinds of soil, by mechanical meansincluding saturated soil comprising of pick,jumper work and blasting work both in soft and hard rock with chiseling and wedging out of rock ( where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil including, dewatering where ever required, setting out to the required line, grades, side slopes trimming bottoms and level as shown on the drawing as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge at site according to HP.PWD specifications of 1990 Volume-1 and sorting out useful materials and stacking the same in all leads and lifts and transportation of the unusefull materials on approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load , animal load or mechanical means along with its leveling fine dressing and all lobour , machineries, materials, tools equipments and safety measures and iincidentials necessary to complete the work by mechanized means and labour (if any required) all useful materials such as stones , shingles, aggregates, and slates shall be sorted out and stacked in the plot up to maximum extent, in all leads and lifts through all modes of transportation as per the direction of the Engineer-in Charge.
2Excavating trenches of required width for pipes, cables, etc including excavation for sockets, and dressing of sides, ramming of bottoms, depth upto 1.5 m ( one point five meter) , including getting out the excavated soil, and then returning the soil as required, in layers not exceeding 20 cm ( twenty five centimeter) in depth, including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering, etc. and disposing of surplus excavated soilas directed by the Engineer-in-Charge at site according to HP.PWD specifications of 1990 Volume-1 and sorting out useful materials and stacking the same in all leads and lifts and transportation of the unusefull materials on approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load , animal load or mechanical means along with its leveling fine dressing and all lobour , machineries, materials, tools equipments and safety measures and iincidentials necessary to complete the work by mechanized means and labour (if any required) all useful materials such as stones , shingles, aggregates, and slates shall be sorted out and stacked in the plot up to maximum extent, in all leads and lifts through all modes of transportation as per the direction of the Engineer-in Charge.
3Excavation in hilly area in all heights and depths and in all kind of soil by mannual/mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil,soft rock,hard rock chiselling,wedging out of rock(where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soild setting out true to the required lines grades width cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown in the drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at site according to the MORD technical specification clause 302,1603 and 1603.2 and sorting out useful materials and stacking the same in all leads and lifts in acquired width of road and transporation of unuseful material for filling in road ways camber,embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all material to required width of the road or on approved dumping site through all modes of transporation including head load or animal transport or mechanical means alongwith its levelling fine dressing and carriage of machineries ,materials, tolls,equipments and safety measures and incidentials necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour,if required all useful materials such as stones,shingle aggregate and slates etcetra. shall be sort out stacked and measured.Recovery at the rate of Rs. 170/- (Rupees one hundred seventy) per cubic metre shall be effected from the bills for the quantity actually measured or 1061.17 cubic metre which ever is more. Any loss to the public private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute respensibility of the contractor which shall have to be compensated by him in all cases.
4Earth work in all kinds of soils in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 ( one point five meter) m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed anddisposal of all material to required width of the road or on approved dumping site through all modes of transporation including head load or animal transport or mechanical means alongwith its levelling fine dressing and carriage of machineries ,materials, tolls,equipments and safety measures and incidentials necessary to complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in Charge.
5Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm ( twenty centimeter) in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and disposal of all material to required width of the road or on approved dumping site through all modes of transporation including head load or animal transport or mechanical means alongwith its levelling fine dressing and carriage of machineries ,materials, tolls,equipments and safety measures and incidentials necessary to complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in Charge.
6Filling in plinth with sand under floors including watering, ramming, consolidating and dressing complete including carriage of materials upto all leads and lifts and as perthe direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
7Providing form work with steel plates 3.15mm. (Three point fifteen milimetre) thick welded with angle iron in frame 30X30mmx5mm.(Thirty into thirty intofive millimeter) so as to give a fair finish including centring, shuttering, strutting and propping etcetra with wooden/ steel battens and ballies, height of propping and centring below supporting floor to ceilingto any floor height and removal of the same for in situ-reinforced concrete and plain concrete work and as per HP. PWD. specifications of 1990 volume-I including carriage of materials, labour, tool and plantthrough all modes of transportation within all leads and lifts and as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge. Foundation footing and basis of columns, etc. and mass concrete.

15Providing and laying damp proof course 50mm ( fifty millimeter) thick with cement concrete 1:2:4 (One cement:two sand:fourstone aggregate12.5mm ( Twelve point five millimeters)nominal size) and curing complete as per HP. 16Applying a coat of hot bitumen (mexphalt 80/100 (Eighty by hundred) or equalent) using 1.70 (One point seventy )kilogram per square metre on damp proof course after cleaning the surface with a piece of cloth lightly soaked with kerosene oil as per HP. PWD. specifications of 1990 volume-I including carriage of materials, labour, tool and plantthrough all modes of transportion within all leads and lifts and as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.
17Providing and laying in position all works above plinth level up to floor V level,machine batched and machine mixed design mix M-25( Twentyu five) grade cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work , using cement content as per approved design mix, including pumping of concrete to site of laying but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement, including admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
