13Rolled mild steel sections as in roof trusses (framed), trussed, purlins, crane gantries, rails, fastening and heavy bracket framing (Beam, tee, angle, channel or flat sections), including distance pieces, cleats etc. including cutting, welding etc. confirming to Fe – 410 – W(Gde E - 250) quality "B" complete all as specifiedand directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
14Rolled mild steel plates (plain or chequered) channels, square cut or notched (ordinary and counter sunk) forming holes, without any attachment confirming to Fe – 410 – W(Gde E - 250) quality "B"complete all as specifiedand directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
15Preparation of New or previously un-treated steel surfaces over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer complete all as specifiedand directed by Engineer-in-Charge
16Supply and fixing of 0.63 mm thick galvanized corrugated iron (CGI) sheeting with two corrugation side lap inclusive of both sides fixed with coach screws and washers as in roof covering, walls etc using grade of zinc coating -275 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
17Supply , installation , testing and commissioning of Diesel engine driven generating set silent type complete with acoustic enclosure in accordance to ASCE7-10 and control system complete with panel forautomatic starting on mains failure, Output of 50 KW/62.5 KVA and working temperature range (-) 20 degree centigrade to (+) 70 degree centigrade & alternator of suitable capacity and RPM, coupled with each other and capable of taking 10% overload for one hour on every 12 hours with flexible coupling mounted on common base plate and antivibration pads on foundation as recommended by the manufacturer. The DG set shall comprise of electric starter motor with batteries of 24 Volts, 160 AH including suitable lead for charging with copper /brass terminals. The DG set shall have turbo charger after cooled type and electronic governing. AVR with all standard fittings, fixtures & all piping etc as furnished below and complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
18(a) Voltmeter : Voltmeter with 0-500 Volts, flush mounted 96mm square digital type with selector switch suitable to connect voltmeter to stand by or mains supply. (b) Ammeter : Ammeter with 0-300 Amps CT"s operated flush mounted 96 mm square digital with selector switch and CT"s of appropriate ratio. (c)Digital Frequency meter : Digital frequency meter with 440 Volts , 5 Amps with built in transducer flush mounted 96 mm square size (d) Indicator lamp - Indicator lamp LED type 230 volts Gen Set/Mains supply ON/OFFindication and recommendation by manufacturer. (e) Bakelite fuse- Backlite fuse base carrier with HRC fuses 300 Amps, 415 Volts suitable for and including knife type HBC fuse link of make : Standard conforming to Cat part No: BSC- 030630 and HSCD- 02200-135 or equivalent of make : Havells- 08 Nos. (f) Accessories and prewiring - All accessories should be prewired withPVC insulated copper conductor cable of appropriate size including connection from DG set all as requried at site including foundation as per manufacturer"s instructions. (g) Foundation - PCC foundation for as per manufacturer"s instructions, recommendation or as required at site or as directed by Engr-in- charge . Cost of the same shall deemed to be included in the lump sum cost of DG set quoted bythe contractor.
19Note : The engine shall be affixed with label mentioning the following:- (i) Name and address of the engine manufacturer. (ii)Type approval certificate Number. (iii) Date of manufacture of engine. (iv) The complete generating set inclusive of control panel base frame coupling etc shall be from the OEM & shall be assembled & tested at engine manufacturer"s workshop and test certificate shall be provided by the contractor. (v) Environment- (i) Engine conforming to environment (protection) Rule 1986. (ii) Humidity up to 95% , (non condensing) (iii) Operating temp range (-) 20 degree centigrade to (+) 70 degree centigrade . (iv) Height above mean sea level (MSL) - 1954 Mtr. (a) Time permitted to build up rated voltage < 5 sec. (b) short circuit with stand time 10 sec. (c) Short circuit ratio 0.4 (d) Overload withstand capacity minimum 150% for 15 sec. 20Diesel Engine : Diesel Engine water cooled and electric start suitable to drive above alternator independently , coupled directly through flexible coupling , multi cylinder four stroke, cold starting 1500 RPM industrial type as per BS-649 or IS-1601 with Mechanical governor integral with fuel system , to regulate speed of DG set from no load to full load complete with fuel tank of capacity as per manfacturer"s recommendation , including lowest weight to power ratio of 2.18 for Engine Silencer, Exhaust manifold duly insulated with asbestos rope and all fitting accessories such as bends, flanges, reducersand support structure from ceiling and silencer muffler etc for continous operation and standard accessories, extended to a suitable distance outside the DG Set Room as directed by Engr-in-charge , sump preheater etc all as specified and directed as follows:- (Note : Nine free service checks during warranty period) (a) Aspiration - Turbocharged & after cooled. 24AMF Panel :-Auto mains failure panel (OEM manufactured) 415 Volts. 50 Hz suitable for 62.5 KVA DG set made out of 16 guage mild steel sheet factory made with CRCA sheet cubical type floor mounted front and rear door openablewith locking arrangement duly powder coated suitable for including the following:- (a) Microprocessor basedauto transfer switch 4 pole 200 Amps, 415 Volts MCCB 02 Nos electronic control box for automatic switching on and off of DG Set and transfer of load as assembled and ready to use complete in all respect equipped as below :- (b) On load change over switch 4 pole 415 volts 50 Hz 200/250 Amps in open execution for manual change over of supply in case of AMF panel failure. (c) All accessories prewired with suitable size PVC insulated copper conductor cable of appropriate size including connections from DG set all as required at site including foundation as per manufacturer"s recommedations. Note: The AMF panel shall be integrated & synchronised with respective LT distribution panel and all electrical connection done using copper bus bars PVC sleeved of appropriate rating but not less than that of LT panel and testing of DG Set to be carried out as specified in PS clause and policy in vogue and results to be submitted to Accepting Officer. The Contractor shall ensure for factory visit of rep detailed by AO before despatch of DG Set.
