| 1 | Repairs to old U-shaped Horizontal type Bitumen Storage tank of 20 Ton capacity with dimensions 6400mm x 2133mm x 2133mm, by way of lifting of Bitumen Storage tank through suitable lifting crane at site Veerwan and then shifting the tank to aprivate workshop, unloading and placing it at safe and secure location. The job further includes removal of upper Top lid with Air vent Chimney and main hole Lid of the tank and then extracting the choked asphalt from the bottom/Base of tank along the entire volume of the tank, and disassembling the bitumen inlet draw of nozzles, flanges and pipe network near the bitumen burner pump. The job also includes removal of damaged MS plates, channels, angles on the outer covering of bitumen tank by gas cutting, welding method and then removing the damaged glass wool insulation along the whole lateral surface area of the tank. The job then includes providing and fixing of MS sheets of requisite thickness (2mm) over the whole lateral area (52.6 m2) along with providing and fixing of ISA 35 x35 x4 mm on the top periphery of tank(17RMT) @ 2.1Kg/m and providing and fixing of MS Flat iron of size 35mm X4 mm @ 1.1Kg /m of running length=52m for fitment of MS sheets by means of riveting jobs and then providing and fixing of glass wool insulation of 50mm thickness covering area 45.52m2. The job further includes providing and applying of metallic Japan black paint over a coat of Red oxide on the whole surface area of bitumen tank after proper repairs. The Bitumen tank after necessary repairs has to be fitted with oil filled pressure jet burner and blower at the inlet end. The job further includes successful installation and testing of the tank for satisfactory performance. |
