| 11 | (xv) The acoustic enclosure parts shall be of powder coated after pre treatment process .The powder coatingshade should be Gen set green.The base frame should be painted with epoxy based black shade(xvi) Rubber matting of LV grade 19 mm thick of suitable size,chequered type,ISI marked shall be laid in front of control panel.(E)Testing: The DG set shall be tested for a period not less than 24 hours continuously out of which at least one hour each on No Load and 25% load,04 hours each on 50% and 75 % of rated full load, 12 hours on rated full load and 02 hours on 10% in excess of rated full load.Necessary load shall be given on connected load. If the required full load for testing purpose is not available at the site,artificial load has to be arranged by the contractor for the testing.All instruments, consumable stores like engine oil, grease required for carrying out the tests including manpower shall be provided by the contractor.
