Super structure with 1m balcony with 3 rose of 20mm dia G.I. approved make pipe(medium) railing all arroung the balcony and also on both sides of stair case with 50mmx50mmx6mm and 0.90m heigh (clear) angle loop post fixed at 1m interval . The stair case shall be of spiral type .Red light arrangement and 1.00m wide M.S. gate arrangement at the entrance of stair case including 0.60m wide ladder with proper protection device shall be provide from the way to the roof of tank and internal ladder 0.60m wide from the roof of the tank to the floor inside the tank comprising on M.S. angle iron of 50mmx 50mmx 6mm with on either side 20mm dia M.S. bar fixed at 25interval with G.I. pipe projected for holding while entering or exit may also be provided and tank roof shall beprovided with 75x75 cm manhole cover 6mm thick M.S. plate complete with locking arrangement duly approved including supply of ISI specified make approved pipe sand fixing of D.I. pipes and specials (sluice valve, duck foot bends, bell mouth etc.) and also all fittings required for these pipes inlet outlet, overflow and washout pipe shall be provided below G.L. and apart from column of O.H.T. as follows and as per direction of E/I.(a) Inlet pipe: min. 2.0m apart from apron upto sluice valve chamber(b) Outlet pipe: min.2.0m apart from apron upto sluice valve chamber ( c ) Washout pipe:min. min.2.0m apart from column upto chamber |

Apron having base concrete 1:4:8 cement, approved coarse sand and 20mm gauge stone grit and 40mm thick, glass strips 35x5mm size including dewatering if required during construction of the tank, roof shall be provided with opening of 75cmx75cm, 6mm thick MS plate manhole covercomplete with locking arrangement, lighting conductor as per I.S.I. specification and suitable electric water level indicator figures painted in fluoresence color (RED). This also includes three coats of approved weather proof Paint of approved brand and shade. Exterior paint over and including one coat of cement primer of approved brand (such as apex paint or equivalantas directed by engineer incharge ) over the entire surface of O.H.T.and also i/c painting of all steel members with three coats of superior quality of black japan paint over one coate of red oxide primer. The dia of D.I.. pipe inlet 125 mm dia, outlet 150mm dia, overflow 80 mm dia, washout pipe 80mm dia shall be used (Cost of pipe and specials with fixing are included in rates)i/e letter writing work on O.H.T wall as per direction of E/I. The LS. cost should be based for the safe bearing capacity of soil 8MT/sqm at 2m depth below the G.I. taking into consideration the sesismic effect and other factor of saftey . The disposal of surplus earth shall be made within 1.0 km distance inside the project and also making circular drain along apron of application design.(e) The above rates are inclusive of testing of soil and designing of overhead tank, including its vetting from reputed government engineering institution/ NIT/IIT as per direction of engineer in charge. The construction of safe over head tank as per structural design will bethe responsibility of the contractor.(f) The contractor has to submit soil test report andvetted structural design of over head tank in the office of executive engineer construction division ayodhya-01, ayodhya within 30 days of issue of acceptance letter.pipes, specials & sluice valve etc .
