Name of work:- Augmentation of LWSS Nalagarh Town in Tehsil Nalagarh District Solan (HP) (SH:- Drilling, lowering of Assembly and Development of Tubewell 150 meter depth 3 Nos.) with Reverse Rotary Rig.

2Drilling of bore as per specifications laid down in IS - 2800 -1991( Part- I ) with upto date ammend ments (if any) with Reverse Rotary Rig starting with 650-600 mm dia M.S.Ppe reducued to 450 - 400 mm dia M.S.pipe conforming to IS- 4270-2001 with upto date ammendments (if any)in allkinds of soils boulders rocks collepsible strata saturated so asartesian conditions including the cost of all consumbales stores water fuel lubricants and other accessories etc.complete in all respects as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
3Drilling and lowering of M.S.casing pipes confirming to IS-4270-2001 with upto date ammendments (if any) of suitable sizes as mentioned above from 0 to 30 metres below ground level with all leads and lifts.
4Drilling and lowering of M.S.casing pipes confirming to IS-4270-2001 with upto date ammendments (if any) of suitable sizes as mentioned above from 30 to 60 metres below ground level with all leads and lifts.
5Drilling and lowering of M.S.casing pipes confirming to IS-4270-2001 with upto date ammendments (if any) of suitable sizes as mentioned above from 60 to 90 metres below ground level with all leads & lifts.
6Drilling and lowering of M.S.casing pipes confirming to IS-4270-2001 with upto date ammendments (if any) of suitable sizes as mentioned above from 90 to 150 metres below ground level with all leads & lifts.
7Collection, preservation and display of suitable size sample box with top lid and locking arrangement till handing over of the tube well to the department, complete in all respects as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
8Providing the geographical logging of the bore well with rotary method with electronic well logger to know the potential of water strata and good quality zone including carriage of logger machine in tempo traveller along with all accessories like graph and generator set, well qualified hydro geologist with two assistant to handler logger assembly for installing at site washing and closing after completing the process i.e including transportation complete in all respect including all leads and lifts and entire satisfaction of the engineer-in-charge.
9Supplying and lowering of IS marked Electric Resistance welded M.S.Pipe 300 mm dia nominal size housing, 8mm thick having outside dia metre 323.9mm, butt welding and are of plain ended, confirming to IS 4270-2001 with up to date amendments(in any) about 4 metres to 7 metres in length, welded without any circumfrential joints, into bore in vertical position including cost of all scaffolding derricks, poles, clamps embedded in foundation etc. including cost of all cutting threading and welding of pipes etc. within all leads and lifts, complete in all respecsts as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
10Supply and Lowering at site electric resistance welded (ERW) Mild Steel Slotted pipe of size 300 mm, housing 8.00 mm thickness having out side dia 323.90 mm butt welding and are of bevel ended confirming to IS 4270-2001 with up to date amendments if anyabout 4 metre to 7 mtr length should have 1200 slot per meter of size 1.0 mm, as per IS 8110-1978 with upto date amendments (if any) and material. complete in all respects as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
11Supplying and lowering of IS marked Electric Resistance welded M.S.Pipe 200 mm dia nominal size housing, 6.4mm thick having outside dia metre 219.1mm butt welding and are of plain ended,confirming to IS 4270-2001 with up to date amendments(in any) about 4 metres to 7 metres in length, welded without any circumfrential joints, into bore in vertical position including cost of all scaffolding derricks, poles, clamps embedded in foundation etc. including cost of all cutting threading and welding of pipes etc. within all leads and lifts, complete in all respecsts as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

13Providing and fixing M.S.centralized guides at suitable spacing for each tubewell as per IS-226-1991 with upto date amendments(if any) within all leads and lifts 1 Nos.complete in all respect
14Supplying, lowering and fixing in position IS marked mild steel bail plug of 200mm/300mm dia meter with \"U\" hooks as per IS 2800-1991 with upto date amendments(if any) within all leads and lifts complete in all respect as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
15Providing and fixing in position threaded iron cap with locking arrangments of approved design to prevent foreign matter from getting into bore hole as required within all leads and lifts complete in all respects as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
16Supplying and packing of gravel consisting of hard quartz or other suitable material with an average specific gravity of not less than 2.5 not containing more than 2% by weight of thin flat or or elangated pieces, shall be of sub rounded to rounded grains with minimum angular features of size 2--3.35 mm, shall be free from impurities such as shafe, shale, mica, felspar, clay, sand, hamatite and organic materials as per IS-4097-1967 with upto date amendments(if any), aroundintake of tubewell with minimum thickness of shroud around screen generally 100mm to theentire depth of the bore as per IS 2800(Part-I) 1991 with upto date amendments(if any) within all leads and lifts complete in all respects as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
17Development of tubewell by back washing method, with air compressor of minimum 750 CFM capacity, pumping pipe of 200mm size and air line of minimum 65mm size or with other suitable method, till the well is thoroughly developed as per clause 4.2 of IS 11189:1985 with upto date amendments(if any) complete in all respects as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
18Development of tubewell by continuous over pumping method with VT pumps/submersible pumps of suitable capacity not less than double the discharge established by the Compressor method/design discharge, untill the well is sand free as per IS-11189-1985 with upto date amendments(if any) complete in all respects as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. The draw down and discharge to be established by running the VT/submersible pump continuously for 8 hours in the presence of Officer not less than the rank of Assistant Engineer.
19Testing the verticality of the tubewell as per clause 4.3 of OS 2800(Part-II):1979 with upto date amendments(if any), using plumb bob or plunger 6mm smaller in dia within the inside diameter of the well casing. The results of the verticality test shall be recorded on proforma shown in Appendix A of IS:2800(Part-II :-1979 with upto date amendments(if any) as appended with the tender documents and handed over complete in all respects as per directions of the Engineer- in-Charge.
20Dismantling of Rig or other allied accessories after completion of job within all leads and lifts complete in all respects as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
21Handing over of the tubewelll in complete shape as per appendix B of the clause 7 of IS 2800 (Part-II):1979 with upto date amendments(if any)l, as appended with the tender document, in laminated form, in triplicate complete in all respects as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
