    2"PERLITE HOT INSULATION (NEW) IN PIPING (Supply & Apply)" : Removing old insulation (damaged or rejected or to be replaced as per inspection or for any maintenance job) of perlite or any other MOC from piping, cleaning the piping surface with wire brush, chisel etc & make ready for inspection of piping (such as thickness gauging etc) & therby, re-insulating the piping with new perlite blocks/pipe sections, all binding, tying, lacing, stitching and/or otherwise securing , finishing with new sheet cladding, water proofing the cladding joints with elastomeric sealing materials, providing bolts, rivets, and self tapping screws wherever specified, providing inspection windows, end seals for flanges etc.,any other necessarymaterials, colour coding and identification, including supply of new perlite pipe sections/blocks, cladding sheet, water proofing sealing compounds, all consumables and all ancillary materials, supply & erection of steel scaffolding wherever required, all tools & tackles, equipments etc. labour, supervision including everything & anything as per requirement, transportation of all materials to work site and completing the work in all respect, at all heights as per requirement, specifications and instructions of Engineer-in-charge, for SOR headers Job specification & material specification shall be as per ASTM C610 & EIL spec- 6-44-0002,Rev-2) Perlite block/ pipe sections shall be supplied by contractor."
