Name of Work: Desilting the Ground Level Reservoir (GLR) of 20 acres in the acquired land in Yanam.
Sl. No. Item Description
1Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavation) / manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5min width as well as 10sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth, lead upto 50m and lift upto 1.5m - all kinds of soil.
2Banking available earth in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth breaking clods, watering , rolling each layers with ½ tonne roller or wooden or steel rammers and dressing up in embankements for roads flood banks , marginal banks and guide banks etc and lift upto 1.5m in all kinds of soil.The quantity of the fill shall be calculated based on levels and then reduced by 10% for the purpose of payment.
3Disposal of excavated earth with in a lead of 3km radius beyond the initial lead of 50m and filling in road side low lying areas and flood banks marginal banks etc., and the conveyed earth shall be neatly levelled and dressed in all kinds of soil etc. completed as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
