4	Earthwork in excavation and filling in all types of soil except soft rock and hard rock for general site grading for all heights and depths including clearing and stripping etc.in excavation areas, removing shrubs, grass, bushes, vegetable growth and other objectionable materials, trees upto and inclusive of a girth of 30 cms. (girth measured at a height of one metre above ground level) including uprooting of roots, etc.,dewatering, if necessary, sorting out the excavated soil into serviceable and unserviceable materials in excavation areas and including filling in filling areas with serviceable material for general site grading and roads for all heights and depths to proper levels, slopes, grades and camber including clearing and stripping in filling areas as per specifications, compacting exposed natural soil to 90% of max. laboratory dry density as per IS:2720 Part-VII, cutting of trees of girth upto and inclusive of 30cms, removal of vegetation, breaking clods, spreading in layers not exceeding 30 cms loose thickness, watering, ramming and compacting with power road rollers to give at least 90% of max. laboratory dry density, dressing, leveling, testing, etc. disposal of unserviceable materials outside the plant boundary limit as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Measurement shall be taken in the cutting area only .Disposal areas shall be arranged by Contractor at hisown cost. The rate quoted shall include all royalties, right-of-way etc. complete.)
5	Earthwork in filling with borrow earth for all heights and depths for site grading or at any other place as directed to proper levels, slopes, grades and camber with selected earth obtained from approved borrow areas for all leads from Complex Limit including excavation of earth at borrow areas, clearing and stripping at borrow areas (if necessary),loading, unloading, transportation etc. clearing and stripping at filling areas, cuttig of trees of girth upto and inclusive of 30cm (girth measured at a height of 1.0 M above ground level) including uprooting of vegetation, roots and disposal of the shrubs,bushes, roots etc., consolidating exposed natural soil to 90% of maximum laboratory dry density as per IS:2720 Part-VII, breaking clods, spreading in layers not exceeding 30 cm loose thickness, watering, ramming and compacting with road roller to give at least 90% of max. laboratory dry density as per IS:2720 Part-VII, testing the degree of consolidation, dressing and leveling, etc. complete, including disposal of all unserviceable materials if any beyond the plant boundary limits for all leads etc., as per drawings, specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. (Borrow/ disposal areas shall be arranged by Contractor at his own cost. The rate quoted shall include all royalties, right-of-way etc. complete).
6	CUTTING OF TREES BEYOND 30 CM GIRTH
7	Felling trees of the girth (measured at a height of 1 m above ground level) including cutting of trunks and branches, removing the roots,transportation outside of owner"s battery Limit, unloading and stacking at respective designated places as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge with all required man power, consumables, tools and tackles, machinery & equipments.Royalty as applicable for disposal outside plant limits shall be borne by the contractor. (Disposal area outside owner"s battery limit shall be arranged by contractor only)
8	Beyond 30cm girth upto and including 60 cm girth

10	BARBED WIRE FENCING
11	Supplying, fixing and tensioning in position 2.5mm, 2 ply, 4 points, GI Barbed wire designation A-1 conforming to IS:278 in horizontal rows and cross diagonals for compound wall "Y" shaped overhang, barbed wire fencing, chain-link fencing etc. with necessary GI staples, clips and pins, GI straining bolts and binding wire with all labour and materials etc. complete as per drawings, specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.(The barbed wire shall be measured in linear length of the barbed wire actually fixed)
12	Supplying, fabricating and fixing in position structural steel line posts, straining posts,struts for "Y" shaped overhang etc. conforming to E250 grade of IS:2062 for barbed wire/ chain link fencing or over brick/stone Masonry/ RCC compound walls/ columns,cutting to required size as per drawings and specifications, welding where necessary,embedding in position, holding to correct level and line, any auxiliary structure for dummy supports, drilling holes and painting as per painting specification attached with tender, cutting brick/rubble/concrete surfaces if necessary, grouting with M20 grade concrete including cost of grout with all labour and material etc. complete as per drawings, specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.( All materials including cement shall be supplied by contractor)
13	Supplying and fixing of hot dipped galvanized concertina wire (made as per following:Diameter of the wire: 2.56mm, Blade thickens: 0.53mm, Blade length: 12.60mm, Blade width: 12.73mm, Avg. blade spacing 25.00mm, Spacing of each ring / coil: 150mm,material for the central core wire shall be as per IS:4454 Part -I grade SM and Razor shall be as per IS:513 grade D.D.) on longitudinal runs of barbed wires supported on angle iron frame over compound wall/Chain link fencing for all height including supply of all materials and consumables (approved type), tools, scaffolding etc.required for fixing the wire complete in all respect as per specifications, standards,drawing and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.( Weight of wire in straight condition shall be not less than 75 g/m and not more than 90g/m) For Diameter of Coil as per drawing.
14	CHAIN LINK FENCING
15	Supplying, fabricating and fixing G.I. chain link fencing with 4.1mm (8 Guage) dia wire PVC colour coated, 50x50mm diamond mesh chain link fence fabric conforming to IS:2721 fixed to steel/RCC posts/struts above ground level, including supply of chain link fencing fabric in 1.9 metre wide rolls, stretcher rod,line wire,staples, etc. required for fixing the fencing, fixing of chain link fencing between straining posts, fixing of bottom of fencing to a concrete sill beams by means of hairpin staples, complete as per drawings, specifications and directions of Engineer -in-Charge (All materials shall be supplied by Contractor ). (The measeuremnt shall be only for chain link fencing in linear basis for 1.9 m wide fencing fabric all inclusive of strecher rod,line wire and staples etc ).
16	Supplying, fabricating and fixing in position structural steel line posts, straining posts,struts etc conforming to E250 grade of IS:2062 for chain link fencing ,cutting to required size as per drawings and specifications, welding where necessary,embedding in position, holding to correct level and line, any auxiliary structure for dummy supports, drilling holes and painting as per painting specification attached with tender, cutting brick/rubble/concrete surfaces if necessary, with all labour and material etc. complete as per drawings, specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.( All materials including cement shall be supplied by contractor)
17	Supplying and fixing in position Gate anywhere within the plant boundary fabricated and manufactured out of steel MS pipe with box post and 50 x 50 x 8 chain link fabric mesh as per standard drawing no. 357891-MDR-000-CA-01-0221 suitably hinged embedded in cement concrete i.e. and locking arrangement etc. including painting etc. complete as per drawings, specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. ( Both side Wicket gate in included)
18	ROADS & FLEXIBLE PAVEMENT (UPTO WMM LAYER)
19	Earthwork in filling with approved borrow earth for all heights and depths for road embankments, shoulders or any other place as directed to proper levels, slopes, grades and stripping at borrow areas (if necessary) loading, unloading, transportation etc., clearing and stripping as per specifications, uprooting of vegetation, roots and disposal of the shrubs, bushes, roots etc., breaking clods, spreading in layers not exceeding 20 cm loose thickness, watering, ramming and compacting with road roller to give at least 97% of max. laboratory dry density as per IS : 2720 Part VIII, providing and operating POL and operator charges of necessary road rollers and other equipment, providing testing apparatus and testing the degree of consolidation, dressing and levelling, etc. complete including disposal of all unserviceable materials if any beyond the boundary limit for all leads etc. as per drawings, specifications and directions of Engineer-in- Charge.The rate quoted shall include all royalties, right-of-way etc. complete. ( Approved earth shall meet CBR requirement as per road drawing.) (Borrow/Disposal area outside owner"s battery limit shall be arranged by contractor only)
20	Supplying and laying of stone aggregate (as per Clause3.5.1 of 357891-MDR-000-CV-SP-0009/Grade II of Morth section 401) for SUB-BASE COURSE tough, sound, clean and durable including cost of stone aggregate, all royalties, taxes, handling, transportation to site, unloading the same by the side of road with all leads and lifts, spreading and laying to form Granular Sub Base of Grade II in one layer of 100mm compacted thickness to proper grade, camber and level, filling voids with screening &binding the surface with binding material of Plasticity Index up to 6.0 including cost of supply of screening &binding material, consolidating with power driven road roller, watering, with all leads and lifts including preparation of camber below subgrade / over existing roads etc. complete as per drawings, specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
21	Supplying and Laying of Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) in sub-base/ base course using tough, clean, sound & durable stone aggregates (as per Clause3.5.2 of 357891-MDR-000-CV-SP-0009/Morth section 406) including premixing the material (mixing in Plug Mill/ Pan Type Mixer), including transportation to site, laying & spreading in layers not exceeding 200 mm compacted thickness & rolling with vibratory roller 80-100 KN static weight or equivalent capacity to proper grade, camber & level with all leads & lifts etc. complete as per drawing & directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
22	Providing and laying 50mm thick bitumen premix carpet including heating bitumen, mixing stone chips, grit, laying to proper grade and camber including preparation of surface, filling pot holes with premix chips, rolling premix carpet with 8 to 10 ton road roller, providing and rolling seal coat for high rainfall areas (over 150 cm/year) to proper grade and camber, spreading sand over finished surfaces including brushing and clearing WMM surfaces,spraying tack coat of bitumen, etc. complete including providing and running road roller etc. all as per drawings,specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. (Anti Stripping agent is in contractor"s scope of supply) (50mm thick premixed carpet bitumen layer in two layers for the road portion, in 35mm and 15mm thickness respectively. First layer consists of 25mm and down size stone metal at the rate of 5.5 m3/100m2. Also inclusive of 60/70 bitumen at the rate of 260kg/100m2. Second layer consists of 12mm and downstone metal @ 2.0 m3/100 m2 and 60/70 bitumen of 110 kg/100 m2, including applying tack coat consisting of 60/70 bitumen @ 100kg/100m2 as per correct grade and camber and rolling sufficiently with 8 to 10T smooth wheel roller etc,complete.)

(Excavation & backfilling shall be paid separately under relevant items).

73	Clearing the area of grass ,vegetation, wild growth, bushes, trees and plants upto 30 cm girth measured at a height of 1.0M above ground level from road side berms under pipelines and structures, tank farms, drains, yards etc by uprooting/scrapping completely from ground and making good the area, collecting all uprooted vegetation etc., abandoned electrical wires / cables / fittings / fixtures inclusive of loading, transportation outside of owner"s battery Limit, unloading and stacking at respective designated places as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Job is also inclusive of providing all necessary machinery, equipments, tools & tackles, consumables etc. all complete as per specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
