5Earthwork in excavation by mechanical means (hydraulic excavator) in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5m, including gettingout the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed within a lead of 50m in any type of soil complete allasspecifiedandas directed.
6Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cmin any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed.
7Rolled mild steel as in plates (plain or chequered) channels, square cut or notched (ordinary and counter sunk) forming holes, without any attachment of Fe-410-W (Gde E-250, quality A) and fixing complete all as specified and as directed.
8Rolled mild steel as in framed work as in valve chambercoversof angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. coversto be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including hinges (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering)of Fe-410-W (Gde E-250, quality A) and fixing complete all as specified and as directed.
9Rolled mild steel as instairs (framed) including stringers, treades, landing, balusters, hand rails etc. in cluding cleats, brackets, etc.of Fe-410-W (Gde E-250, quality A) and fixing complete all as specified and as directed.
10Taking up / down water mains ofgalvanisedirontubing including all fittings from trenches / walls / roof / floor etc., and removal from site under Sch of creditof the following bore of pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

67Taking out non functional submersible (vertical) typepumpsets including motorsof capacity 5 HP / 7.5 HP from bore wellfor repair by lifting GI tubing of size 50 mm from upto a depth of 60mby means of chain pully block or other T&P, disconnecting electrical and pipe line connection, transporting to workshop for repairing and reassembling after servicing and overhauling complete with oiling / greasing, lubricating the parts includng repair / renewal of worn out parts and spray painting with one coat of synthetic enamel paint after cleaning and scrubing, shifting back to borewell, lowering and reinstallation, commissioning and testing on full load complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.
68Note:-
69(a) Major defective spares, replaced shall be measured and paid separately as supply only as given in list of spares here-in-after.
70(b) Cost of consumables like grease, cotton waste etc., other minor items /spares such as nut, bolts washers, gaskets, paints etc which are not covered under List of spares but required for effective functioning of the plant shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted.

105Hose Boxes made of 18 gauge MS sheet 800 mm x 600 mm x 250 mm size with double door, door frames shall be of 16 gauge MS sheet, with 4mm thick glass,lock,2 keys and a break glass, recess for key. The hose box shall be painted fire red outside and brilliant white inside as in repairs complete all as specified and asdirected.
