| 4 | Stringing of line pipes along ROU including providing straw/ sand/ soft soil bags, soft padding/ sand padding.Aligning, bending, cutting and bevelling (as required by cold cutting machine) of pipes for welding and field adjustments, welding, carrying out destructive/ non- destructive testing of welds as required as per specification including 100% radiography and providng all requisite equipment, labour, supervision, materials, films, consumables all facilities and personnel to process, develop, examine and interpret radiographs and other tests, as required, carrying out repairs of weld joints found defective by Owner, carrying out re- radiography and other tests such as ultrasonic etc. as required on repaired joints etc. as mentioned in SCC & particular job specification.Supply of coating materials for all field joints, Long Radius Bends, Burried Fittings, Valves, etc. including heat shrink sleeves and high build liquid epoxy etc. as per specifications compatible with 3-Layer PE Coating as per tender specifications with prior approval of Owner.Coating of all field weld joints, long radius bends, (R=6D bends), burried fittings, valves etc.Trenching & Lowering along with HDPE duct (Free issue material) the pipelines in trench as per specification & standard drawings, providing padding around the pipeline and backfilling.Supply of long radius bends (R=6D) of desired angles (wherever required) based on pre-construction survey ofthe pipeline route carried out by the contractor for 12\" NB pipeline as per the datasheet enclosed in tender document. |
| 5 | Installation of Long Radius Bends (R=6D bends) as per specification wherever required depending on site condition.Carrying out cleaning, water filling with suitable approved corrosion inhibitors, hydrotesting of complete pipeline in test sections as approved by Owner to specified pressures for 06 hr test pressure holding period for new proposed line and 06 hr for bypass line; providing all equipment, pumps, test headers, fittings, pressure & temperature instruments etc., and services, supervision, labour, consumables, water, air, etc. as required; detection of leaks, if any occurred during hydrotesting, attributable to Contractor and rectification of defects, re- testing after rectification with due approval of Owner, successful completion of hydrotesting of pipeline to acceptance criteria defined in the specifications; complete dewatering, Pigging, cleaning, Guaging , swabbingand drying of pipeline section through suitable method ie; vaccum drying/ super air drying/ super dry nitrogen inline with direction of EIC.(Note : Leak detection, its rectification and successfully re-hydrotesting shall be carried out by Contractor with a view that completion of all activity for successful hydrotesting is not inordinately extended, which willhamper the overall project schedule. Further, no extra payment claim shall be entertained for re- hydrotesting, leak detection and their rectifications if defects found attributable to Contractor.All tieing-in, including the tie-in(s) of the associated pipeline with the adjacent sections of pipeline (i.e. proposed pipeline section laid & existing burried pipeline section, if required) including cutting & rebevelling of test headers, cutting & rebevelling of existing pipeline wherever required for making provision for hook- up with proposed laid pipeline as required, radiography and other NDT examination, joint coating as per specification. |

| 15 | 12\" Line pipe 02 Numbers of 12\" NB, 600# FB, Flanged End Ball Valves will be issued by GAIL for By-pass line fabrication. Other required material Such as Flanges, Elbows, Fittings, reducer, Pipe (size other than 12\" will be in contractor scope), small bore piping for drains & vents, etc. will be arranged by the Contractor. After completion of the job the entire bypass lines (of both ends) along with 12 \" ball valve shall be handed over to GAIL . The cost of the above entire works / supplies shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates.All important Special Tools such as Hot Tapping & Stoppling Machine, Sandwich Valves shall be hydrotested in contractor works before mobilising at GAIL site. GAIL or its representative may witness the hydrotest at their own cost if required. | 16 | MOBILE FLARE ARRANGEMENT FOR LPG FLARINGDismantling and shifting of existing mobile flare from GAIL\"s SV-61 (Rajasthan) / SV-64 (Harayana) to Hot Tapping Site location. Making provision for connecting the Mobile Falre at site by Supply & Wleding of 2\" TOR in Pipeline at site and subsequent jobs such as Hot tapping, etc for connecting the mobile flare in existing 12” pipe including supply of temporary 2”sandwich valve/ full bore valve (Returnable Basis). Operation of mobile flare for burning of LPG in existing pipeline after completion of the Job / LPG burning mobile flare shall be shifted back to its original location in same condition. | 17 | De-commissioning and retrieval of Existing Rerouted Pipeline SectionComplete work of carrying out abandonment and de-commissioning of the existing pipeline after disconnecting / isolating it from all sources and supplies of LPG with positive isolation, transfer of LPG in tanks/ Main LPG Line / Flaring of LPG Gas at a safe location after shifting through Suitable High Pressure Tankers / etc. as per the approved scheme at site. Pushing/ evacuating LPG with special arrangement by nitrogen/ water etc, arrangement of tanker for LPG in - coordination with GAIL authorities. after completion of all above mentioned activities sealing the pipeline ends effectively by providing end caps or flange and blind flange.Supply of all consumables (i.e. nitrogen Tanker with High Pressure Vaporiser required for pushing the LPG throughing pigging, pigs etc.) materials, deployment of required manpower and equipments, all temporary works and performing all associated works, complete as per the relevant code (OISD 214/other relevant code ), specifications,approved procedures, other provisions of contract document and instructions of Engineer-in- charge.
