5Supplying, assembling fixing and lowering into bore hole 300 mm (12") dia MS casing pipe with 8 mm wall thickness externally threaded and socketed ERW in random length of 6 mtr or as required duly ISI Marked including necessary fittings and jointing upto 100 mtrs depth from ground level and painting with two coats of anti corrosive paint on external surfaces of pipe before lowering complete all as specified and directed.
6All as per Srl item No 5 here-in-before but size of MS casing pipe 250mm (10") with 8 mm wall thickness ISI marked and jointing the MS casing threaded and socketed alongwith arc welding complete at depth exceeding 100 mtr but not exceeding 300 mtr below ground level all as specifed and directed.
7Supplying assembling fixing and lowering exceeding 100 mtr but n.exc 300 mtr below ground level low carbon galvanized strainer 250mm (10") bore minimum wall thickness 8 mm including screwed with mild steel socket as per latest ISI marked having slots to suit the size of sand grain including fitting jointing the MS casing and MS Pipes 250 mm bore by welding of 30 x 6 mm FI strips 45 cm long 3 Nos complete all as specified and directed
8Supplying and fixing 8 mm thick MS bail plug of 250mm dia x 600 mm long with strong iron hook, screwed & welded to the casing pipe complete all as specified. Note:- Length of pipe required to be fixed with bail plug and will be measured and paid for separately under respective item.
9Supply, fixing and lowering into bore hole centering guides made out of MS flat iron of size 50 x 6 mm made to shape with two rings at 75 cm apart and three No ribs suitable for 250/300mm bore pipe complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge
10Supply and fixing MS reducer of wall thickness 8 mm screwed both end 300 x 250 mm size of length 600 mm including jointing threaded and socketed alongwith electric arc welding complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
11Supply and fixing well cap 300 mm bore having internal threads and welded with iron handle of 20 mm dia MS round bar complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
12Supply and fixing housing clamp 90 cm long made out of MS flat iron 100 mm x 10 mm for 250 mm dia casing pipe with necessaryMS bolts, nuts and washers at ground level complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
13Supplying and packing pea gravel of size 3.00 mm to 4.00 mm all around the casing pipe and slotted pipe in the well bore to entire depth complete all as specified (volume of pea gravel shall be measured as space between bore well and outer dia of pipe)
14Supplying and fixing 80 mm bore GI Pipe mediumgrade 6 mtr long 4 Nos in the angular pace on four sides of the borewell and 30 cm above the ground level with suitable size GI cap at gound level for feeding pea gravel complete all as specified (Cost of gravel feeding will be measured separately.
15M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in block mass concrete below ground level all around the bore level complete all as specified and directed.
16Supplying and fixing strata box with openable sheet glass shutter 3 mm thick and having internal dimension 150 mm x 100 mm x 1.5 mtr complete with soil sample obtained from various depths of boring after every interval of 10 mtrs with particulars like name/number of tube well location and depth of strata duly written including provision of strata charts complete all as specified and direct by Engineer-in-Charge.
17Development of the bore well with high capacity air compressor for not less than 8 hrs till the water become sand or silt free including removing of surplus soil mud to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing as directed & making the site clear all as directed. Note:- Air compressor should be of high capacity 600 Cu ft/per minute and 600 PSI alongwith connected tools and plants required for the development and will be arranged by the contractor and cost of fuels, electrical supply etc are also to be included in the item rate quoted by contractor
18M&L for Yield testing and stabilizing of the tube well by means of electric driven pumping set of suitable capacity not less than 16 hrs (discharge shall be measured by providingorifice system of "V" notch fixed to steel tank of adequate capacity)and testing of water shall be done from NABL approved Govt Laboratory and report of the same shall be submitted to Engr-in-Charge complete all as specified and directed. Note: pumping set and other required equipments shall be arranged by the contractor under his own arrangements
19Supply and fixing in replacement of submersible cable PVC insulated, PVC sheathed, industrial, multi stranded, copper conductor 3 core, 16 sq mm flat, minimum number of strands 126Nos and nominal dia of each strand not less than 0.4 mm,1100 volt grade conforming to IS 694/1990 completed all as specified and directed.
20Supply, laying,jointing and testing in replacement 150 mm (6") dia, ductile iron pressure pipes with flanged ends vertically cast conforming to IS-8329-2000suitable for rubber gasket joints includingjoints and jointing materials Class "K-9" in any length, laid in trenches complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Cost of shuttering/ T&P/labour minor items etc required for carrying out work at over head reservoirs of height upto 25 Mtrs shall be deemed to be included in unit rate quoted by the contractor.
21Supplying & fixing GI column pipe 150 mm dia, heavy duty, "C" class with both end flanged and drilled 3 mtrs long including connecting to mainpipe line complete all as specified and directed. Note : The cost of nuts, bolts, washers packing materials and pressure gauge shall be deemed to be included in unit rate quoted by the contractor)
22Supply, laying,jointing and testing 150 mm (6") dia, ductile iron pressure pipes with flanged ends centrifugally cast conforming to IS-8329-2000suitable for rubber gasket joints includingjoints and jointing materials Class "K-9" in any length, laid in trenches complete all as specified and as directed.
23M&L for fittings for flanged pipes such asbends of any type, radius and angle tapers any type (straight, bend increasing, decreasing or double sockets etc)Tee pieces single branch "Y" junction, double branch, cross( all sockets or socket and spigot) collars, caps and plug size upto 150 mm bore, all as per IS 1538-1993, ISI marked complete all as specified and directed.
24M&L for joints with rubber gasket for flanged pipe of bore 150mm DI pipe line complete all as specified and directed.
25S&F Non-return valve/Reflux valve of 150mm dia, with bypass arrangement, Cast iron, screwed/flanged both ends, nuts, bolts, washers gaskets etc as required at site ISI marked complete all as specified and directed.
26Supply & fixing in replacement castironair releasevalvewith twoairoutlets 80 mm dia bore andfixing to cast iron water supply mains of 150 dia bore pipe line complete all as specified and directed.
27Supply, install, testing and commissioning chemical dozing system having plastic chemical solution tank with lid of capacity 250 Ltrs fitted on it with one electronic positive displacement diaphragm type motor pump operating at 230V, 50 Hz, AC supply,discharge capacity 35 LPH, minimum pressure 4 Kgs/Sq cm with connected accessories like NRV, in-built ARV, foot valve with strainer fitted on pump suction assembly / wall mounting bracket with fixing accessories, one tank level switch fitted on pump suction assembly to stop the pump when liquid in tank falls below a certain level and lights a red LED on the pump, adjustable stroke length and frequency, volume of tank 250 ltrs,including high speed single phase motor of power 0.37 KW mixer/agitator withstainless steel impeller and shaft fitted with worm gear reducer assembly including provision of new power cable PVC insulated 1.5 sqmm x 3 core copper conductor cable from panel/socket to motor drawn through PVC conduit not less than 20 mm bore medium grade, fixed to wall/floor with suitable size clamps and screws and incl provn of 01 x MCB SPN, 6 to 32 Amp, C Series and 02 x MCB SP 6 to 32 amps fitted in a sheet metal enclosure/MCB DB 4 way single door fixed on a wooden board base of suitable size complete connection and testing all as specified and directed.
28S&F in replacement 150 mm bore cast Iron sluice Valve, double flanged complete with brass spindle iron wheel handle clock wise closing with drilled hole flanged heavy duty PN 1.6 conforming to IS-13095, including rubber gasket, nut, bolts, washers complete all as specified and directed. Note :-DI Specials/fittings will be measured separately under relevant items.
29S & F in replacement PVC tubing 15 mm dia heavy duty fixed to wall/floor by means of suitable size PVC U clamps at an interval of 600 mm complete all as specified and directed
30Supply & fix in repair pressure gauge of 100 mm dia with ball valve of pressure 25 Kg/Sqcm complete all as specified and directed.
31Supply and fixing water level indicator electronic type suitablefor over head reservoirs incl provn of PVC copper cable0.5 sqmm 10 core from OHT to pump house andwater level sensor 07 Nos complete setall as specified and directed by Engineer-in- charge. Note:- Cost of T&P/ PVC conduit for cable, minor items etc required for carrying out work at over head reservoirs of height upto 25 Mtrs shall deemed to be included in unit rate quoted by the contractor.
32M&L for cutting of existing underground cast iron pipe 150/100mm dia including provn of fittings viz, Tee-01 No, tail piece -2 Nos and required jointing materials to establishing joint to connect with existing pipe line including earth work,returning filling, removal complete all as specified and directed. Note: DI Special/ fittings which are not included in this item will be measured and paid separately
33Material and labour for construction of brick masonry valve pit of size 1.20 x 1.20 x 1.20 Mtr (internal dimension) including earth work and excavation in any type of soiland disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr away from site including plastering internally in CM (1:4) and flush pointing on brick work externally as the work proceeds in the same mortar with angle iron frame 40x40x6 mm, hold fast MS sheet cover 3.15 mm thick, handle hinged to frame and locking arrangement including duly painted with black synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer including demolition existing pit completed all as specified and directed.
34Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.50 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.50 mtr in depth for laying of cables and gettingout complete all as specifiedand directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
35Returing, filling in, including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming inlayers not exceeding 25 cms thick each layer compete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
36Removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point completeall as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.
37Cutting of road/ hardstanding/ foot path not exceeding 0.60 cm wide and 1.0 mtr depth for laying of pipe line including making good with PCC 1:3:6 type C2 of required quantity to make up the digged depth with existing road complete all as directed.
38S&F sign board,duly written with pump house No., location, and GE (West), front display made out of flex board mounted on cuboid shaped frame of required size and made out of MS angle 50x50x3mm and other five sides covered with aluminium composite panel sheet 1.16 mm thick. The display board totally enclosed with stainless steel 304 grade pipe 25 mm bore frame and mounted on including provision of 02 Nos stainless steel 304 graded 40 mm bore each 5 mtr length including excavation of 0.3 x 0.6 mtr and PCC (1:4:8) in mass concrete 60 cm depth under the ground level and incl provision of LED tube light fitting as required for effective illumination and connecting with nearest light point by providing PVC insulated 2 core, 1.5 sqmm copper cable of required length complete all as specified and directed.
39Taking up cast iron water mains 6" (150 mm) bore (including all fittings), with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead all as secified and directed.

42M & L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6 mm thick, burried directly in ground(earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less 1.5 mtr deep below normal ground level connected to GI earth strip size 25 x 4 mm as earth lead connected to earth plate by means of nut, bolts, check nut & washer of galvanized iron or of steel, GI earth wire will be protected by 15 mm dia GI pipe "light grade", GI wire meshed funnel with GI watering pipe 20mm dia alternate layer of char coal and salt on all side to earth plate upto thickness of 150 mm, filling of black cotton soil in earth pit upto ground level, PCC chamber recessed for and including RCC cover including all necessary excavation & earth work, earth wire connected to O/H continuous earth wire on pole, testing the earthing after completion complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Earth pit shall be constructed 50cm from the side of excavation to avoid sinking of pit. (ii) PCC chamber shall be (1:3:6) using 20 mm graded stone aggregate and 50 mm thick RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 cover slab reinforced with 8mm dia TMT steel bars @ 100mm c/c both ways complete all as specified and directed.
43S&F GI earth strip 25 x 4 mm laid in trenches/fixed to walls on epoxy insulators with screws etc and connecting complete all as specified and directed.
44Supply & laying (in replacement) jointing, testing and commissioning XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor 1100 Volts grade, cross sectional area 70 Sq mm, 3.5 core including connecting the same with existing panels with required cable glands , thimbles/ lugs as required at site complete all as specified and directed.
45Material and labour for sand cushioning with a layer of sand 8cm thick before laying of cable and 15 cm thick after laying of cable in trenches complete all as specified. Note : Punned down thickness shall be measured.
46Supply and lay burnt bricks sub class "B" standard size laid across the cable in trenches as protection to the cable all as specified and directed.
47Taking out old GI column pipe of 150/ 100/ 80 mm dia, 3 mtr long complete all as specified and directed.
