| 1 | Annual Repair and maintenance of twin rising main and joints of twin rising main 150mm,100mm,80mm,65mm,50mm dia each a period of one year including excavation in earth work and returning of soil where ever required including ramming and watering and dsipsing of all surplus excavated earth in all leads and lifts removal of bushes cutting & welding (leak proof) in three layer as per relevant IS specification including necessary labour and material required i,e welder , welding set , welding rods etc. complete in all respect including t & P and new nuts and bolts and super metallic gasket seat champion make not less than 3mm as per latest IS specification and as per direction of Engineer in charge. |
| 2 | TERMS AND CONDITIONS |
| 3 | 1. Repair should be carried out in the presence of any responsible official of the Department. |
| 4 | 2. The joint which has been repaid should be wrapped with hasson cloth after completely dipping in coal tar. |
| 5 | 3. The scheme shall not remain out of order for more than 6 hours otherwise penalty @1% of the award amount for every 6 hours shall be imposed on the contractor. |
| 6 | 4. If the performance of the contractor is not found satisfactory than the agreement shall be terminated. |
| 7 | 5. The contractor will hand over the scheme to the department in smooth running condition after expiry of contract failing which penalty as demand fit shall be imposed. |
| 8 | 6. Security, GST and other statutory deductions will be made as applicable. |
| 9 | 7. All arrangements for welding i.e electricity supply / generator set shall be arranged by the contractor at his level |
| 10 | 8. No escalation will be allowed under any circumstances. |
| 11 | 9. All the material to be used for repair work, replaced will be conforming to relevant I.S. specification. |
| 12 | 10. The dismantled parts shell be replaced with new genuine parts. |
| 13 | 11. Notwithstanding anything mention above, if any dispute arises regarding respire /replacement of parts / equipments etc. decision of the Engineer in charge will be final. |
| 14 | 12. All vales such as sluice valve, reflux value, or other valves fixed in the rising main will have to be kept operative without leakage. |
| 15 | 13. If the department vehicle will be deputed for carriage of equipment to contractor’s workshop than it will be charged at the out turn rates for private works. |
| 16 | 14. Credit of old nuts and bolts @Rs.15/- kg per kg shall be taken. |
| 17 | 15. Average depth of excavation for road portion shall not be less than 2.1mtr deep. |
| 18 | 16. The contractor/firm will be eligible only if they have completed / executed/ maintained similar nature of work before quoting the rates. Necessary certificate in this regard duly singed by concerned Executive Engineer in mandatory. |
| 19 | 17. The firm / contractor should have complete similar job withAPI pipe joint require work . Certified copy/ completion form Executive Engineer concerned be approved |
