1Supplying, transportation, installing, dismantling and removing of Interlocking type TEMPORARY STEEL SHEET PILES with crane/ JCB/Poclain/vibro-hammer/pile driving machinery of adequate capacity and other ancillary equipment, including driving and joining the sheet piles as per specification up to levels indicated in the drawings & specifications. Installed sheet piles are temporary and shall retain the earth, provide excavation support for a depth of 5m from ground level and protection against water seepage & Sliding of earth during construction activities, including supply of all materials, steel members, welding, strutting, tie members supporting, labour, plant & machineries, etc. all complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Notes:- (i) Method of Measurement for payment will be the actual horizontal limit of temporary sheet piling installed and accepted, and the vertical limit as measured from the bottom of the exposed face of the sheeting to the top of the retained earth behind the sheeting. (ii) The Steel Sheet Piles shall be supplied by the contractor and shall remain the property of the contractor).
2Providing necessary BARRICADING WORKS with 1mm thick corrugated GI sheets and supporting with necessary structural steel arrangements including scafffolding pipes and tubes for a maximum height of 3m, embedding the same in firm ground with necessary foundation works, etc. Rate quoted should include mobilisation and erection of the above items including demobilisation after completion of works. The same will be the property of Contractor.
3EARTHWORK EXCAVATION in all types of soil depth up to 1.5 m, includingsoft or hard murrum, but excluding soft and hard rock, using mechanical means (Hydraulic Excavators) / Manually includingclearing away of vegetations, shrubs and debris, cutting and dressing of sides in slopes, levelling, grading and ramming of bottoms, dewatering of accumulated / sub-soil water from any source and keeping the surface dry for subsequent works and disposal or stacking of excavated material within a lead of 100m, as directed includingshoring and strutting and providing temporary supports to existing service lines like water pipes, product pipes, sewage pipes, electric overhead and underground cables, Cable trenches, etc. all complete as per the specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
4Same as Item No. 30 above, but for depth beyond 1.50 m and upto 3.0 m.

6TRANSPORTING & DISPOSING the surplus earthfrom construction area to Vaikkadu Area up to a lead of 7km including re-excavating the deposited soil excavated earlier, transportation, loading, unloading, laying at all depths & heights, stacking, levelling and dressing both areas (viz., from where the earth is transported and where it is deposited) to required levels and slopes complete with all lifts as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note: If measured by stacks, 30% voids will be deducted.)
7Supplying and filling approved M-SAND of specified quality under raft, foundation, etc. for all depths including the cost of sand, labour charges, tools and tackles, royalties, transportation to site for all leads and lifts, including loading, unloading, spreading in layers not exceeding 150 mm, watering, ramming, compacting with mechanical compactors and/ or other equipment to specified level all complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
8BACKFILLING after execution of work to proper grade and level with selected materials from available excavated soil stacked in soil heaps within a lead of 100 m, including re-excavating the deposited soil excavated earlier, breaking clods, laying at all depths & heights in layers of thickness not exceeding 150 mm watering, rolling and ramming by manual methods / mechanical compactors, dressing, trimming, etc., in foundations, plinths, trenches, pits, etc. including all labours, tools & tackles, etc. all complete as per the specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
9Providing & laying DRY RUBBLE SOLING (Hard Core) with 20 to 40 mm size metal, under foundations/Ground floor slab (Grade slab), etc., including filling recesses by grit, stone chips & approved murrum, watering, dressing, compacting with mechanical compactors, etc., complete as per drawings, specifications and as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
10Providing, mixing and laying of PCC 1:4:8 nominal mix using 40 mm and downgraded coarse aggregate and using OPC (53 grade) for any thickness for all depths below raft, pile cap, etc., including shuttering, tamping, ramming, vibrating, curing, etc., all as specified in any shape, position, thickness and finishing the top surface rough or smooth as specified and directed all complete, as per drawings, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
11Providing, mixing and laying in position REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE (RCC) of grade M35 with 20mm and down graded coarse aggregates and minimum cement content of 400kg/cu.m as per IS 456:2000 using 53 grade Ordinary Portland Cement in SUB STRUCTURE for all depths upto 450mm from ground level along with cost of admixtures, labour charges, tools and tackles, providing pockets, openings, recesses, chamfering, etc., wherever required, vibrating, tamping, curing and rendering if required to give a smooth & even surface and providing neat cement wash, etc. including single pour concreting as specified in drawing, (excluding the cost of Reinforcement and Shuttering), etc. all complete as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
12Providing, mixing andlaying in position REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE (RCC) of grade M30 with 20mm and down graded coarse aggregates and minimum cement content of 330 kg/Cu.m; as per IS 456:2000 using 53 grade Ordinary Portland Cement in SUPER-STRUCTURE for all heights above 450mm from ground level (upto and inclusive of 20m)including cost of admixtures, labour charges, tools and tackles,providing pockets, openings, recesses, chamfering, wherever requried, vibrating, tamping, curing and rendering if required to give a smooth & even surface, providing neat cement wash, etc. (Excluding the Cost of Reinforcement, Shuttering), etc. all complete as specified,and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

14Providing and laying REINFORCED SELF FINISHED/BROOMER FINISH CONCRETE OF GRADE M35 with 40 mm & down size graded stone aggregates and mixing by mechanical mixers for roadwork/pavement in alternate bays, including tamping, compacting by internal and surface vibrators, providing smooth shuttering, providing camber to the surface, providing joints, curing, tarring the sides of slab with hot bitumen, etc. also including applying cement slurry (2.75 kg/m2) prior to placing concrete, complete as per the drawings and specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 22Supplying, fabricating and placing in position HIGH STRENGTH DEFORMED STEEL BAR REINFORCEMENT of grade Fe500D for RCC work, straightening, cleaning, decoiling, cutting, bending to required shapes and lengths as per details, binding with contractor"s own 16 Standard Wire Gauge(SWG) black soft annealed binding wire at every intersection, supplying and placing with proper cover blocks, supports, overlaps, chairs, spacers, lifting hooks etc for all heights & depths etc. all complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
23Providing and laying HALF BRICK MASONRY with bricks of Class 5.0 in cement mortar 1:4 (1 Cement : 4M Sand) for all depths and heights including cost of materials, cement, labour, scaffolding, sampling, testing, supplying and placing 2 no. 8 mm dia. diarebars at every fourth course, sealing the gap between masonry and soffit of the beam / slab, embedding the fittings and fixtures, curing, etc. all complete as per specifications, and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- The cost of Reinforcement shall be paid seperately under relevant items.

27Providing 15mm THICK CEMENT PLASTER in Cement Mortar 1:4 (1 Cement:4 M sand) on brickmasonry, PCC/ RCC surfaces including preparation of base, cleaning, chipping, packing of electrical, plumbing works, scaffolding if required, finishing, curingincluding mouldings and providing grooves in plaster, bands, mouldings, etc. as specified for all depths and heights including labour charges, tools and tackles, material costs, etc. as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
28Providing 12mm THICK CEMENT PLASTER in Cement Mortar 1:4 (1 Cement:4 M sand) on brickmasonry, PCC/RCC surfaces including preparation of base, cleaning, chipping, packing of electrical, plumbing works, scaffolding if required, finishing, curing including mouldings and providing grooves in plaster, bands, mouldings, etc. as specified for all depths and heights including labour charges, tools and tackles, material costs, etc. as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
29Providing 20 mm THICK CEMENT PLASTER in 2 coats, 1st coat of 12 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:4 (1 Cement:4 M sand) & 2nd coat of 8 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:4 (1 Cement:4 M sand) plain cement plaster outside/inside the building/boundary wall finished to a smooth finish including providing grooves at junctions of two dissimilar materials all complete as directed by EIC.
30Providing 6mm THICK CEMENT PLASTER in cement mortar 1:3 (1Cement:3 M-sand by volume) on Roof Ceilings, concrete surfaces including preparation of base, cleaning, chipping, packing of electrical works, scaffolding, finishing, curing, etc. for all heights complete with all labour charges, material costs, tools and tackles, etc. as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
31Providing & applying INTERIOR PAINT one coat of emulsion primer & filling services, if any with putty & applying two coats of Acrylic Distemper Paint of Asian / approved equivalent make, as per the manufacturer’s specifications including necessary scaffolding, brushing, cleaning & surface preparation with Plaster of Paris punning, etc. complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
32Providing and applying three coats of approved WHITE WASH (comprising of Fat lime, water, gum with hot water and sodium chloride with hot water) in interior surfaces as per the specifications including necessary scaffolding and surface preparation, etc., complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
33Supplying and applying two coats of PREMIUM ACRYLIC EMULSION EXTERIOR PAINT of required shade and including surface preparation, a priming coat with emulsion primer of approved brand as same as final coat including cleaning, removing dust, filling all holes, cracks and depressions with wall putty, necessary scaffolding, etc., all complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
34Providing & laying WATER PROOFING MEMBRANE to roof of Atactic Polypropylene (APP) with non-woven polyester reinforcement having thin polyethylene foil of approved quality including cleaning, crack filling, rendering and necessary fixing arrangements as per manufacturer’s specifications, rate shall include supplying & sprinkling Pea-Sized gravel or grit devoid fine sand over member complete as per drawing, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (The thickness of Atactic Polypropylene (APP) membrane to be considered as 4.0 mm.)
35Providing and fixing Tray type ALUMINIUM PLANK FALSE CEILING consisting of 254/305mm x 1264mm or 600mm x 600mm size Aluminium planks (profiled for positive engagement into clip-in profiles and demounting of individual planks) manufactured out of 0.7mm thk. 36Providing & laying 15mm thick tile ACID RESISTANT TILES (VITRIFIED) to FLOORS of approved make bedding & joints filled with appropriate acid proof cement. All work complete as per manufacturer’s specifications, drawing & as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
37Providing & laying ACID RESISTANT TILES (VITRIFIED) to 10 to 12 mm thick for WALLS of approved make with applying 2 coats (to the base concrete) of mixture of general purpose polymer (bonding agent) mixed with OPC cement, sprinkling silica to make surface rough. Bedding mortar of 8 to 10 mm thickness in 1:3 ratio with 5 % General purpose polymer added to cement. Joints of min. width 5 to 8 mm raked, cleaned & filled with appropriate acid proof cement. All work complete as per manufacturer’s specifications, drawing & as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
38Providing and fixing 2 hours FIRE RATED SINGLE SHUTTER STEEL DOORS consisting of steel door frame, shutter, vision panel, insulation and hardware such as hinges panic bar, locks/trims for panic bar, door closer, door stopper, consealed flush bolt, etc. including fixing with masonry, partition, etc. all complete as per specificaitons and approved manufacturers details.
39Providing and fixing PRESSED STEEL DOOR AND WINDOW FRAMES of size (assorted size out of) Overall 125mm x60mm section, of required profile conforming to IS: 4351,made of 16 SWG pressed steel including/consisting of: (i) 3 mm thick MS flat spacers welded to frame @ 500mmc/c and at holdfast locations. (ii) Filling the hollow frame section with concrete. (iii) MS angle (20mmx20mmx3mm) horizontal tie member below floor finish. (iv) MS holdfasts (200mmx25mmx6mm) welded to spacers.
