| 30 | DEPLOYMENT OF TECHNICIAN FOR CM |
| 31 | Deployment of Highly SkilledTechnician for Condition Monitoring & Daily Health Check up of DieselEngines:The party has to deploy 1 No. (One) Skilled Technician for ConditionMonitoring & Daily Health Check-up of the Diesel Engines installed atFire Water Pump House (BTP) & TPS. Every day, the technician has to report to EIC/site-Engineer at 8 AM. Normal working hours shall be 0800 hrs to 1700 hrs. However, in case of urgency, the technician may have to continue after general shift. He may also be required to attend the abnormalities on Sunday/holiday in case of emergency. Payment beyond normal working hours shall be made as per awarded OT Rates. After reporting to site Engineer, the technician has to carry out daily checks as per check list recommended by OEM or as suggested by EIC. The checklists are to be submitted to EIC/SIC at the end of the day. The technician will also report regarding abnormalities in any of the engines and lay out action plan for rectification. In addition to the checks recommended by the OEM, the following daily checks are to be done mandatorily for each engines:1. Checking of water level in radiator and top up if required.2. Checking of engine oil level and top up if required.3. Checking of functioning of Self Starter.4. Checking of functioning of Alternator.5. Checking of Fan belt tension and condition. Tighten if found loose.6. Thorough checking of electrical system7. Checking ofall hose pipes of cooling lines, radiator and water pump.8. Checking of all hose pipes of lubricating lines and diesel lines.9. Checking of terminals for loose connection and cleanliness of terminals/Batteries.10. Checking of electrolyte level of Batteries and top up if required.11. Checking of functioning of all meters12. Checking of abnormal sounds if any.13. Checking of Battery charger/charging system.14. Checking of diesel level ofDiesel Tank The described scope of work above is only indicative and not exhaustive. All necessary steps and/or arrangements should be taken to carry out health checkup in all respect. |
