1Specification for SITC of Ducted Fume hood Fume hood shall be designed to limit exposure to hazardous or toxic fumes in Lab Environment. It will bypasses all toxic fumes from Lab by a duct. Internal material of Fume Hood shall be made by 6 mm chemical resistant Phenolic Resin Laminate and outer body also made by GI Sheet with Epoxy Powder coating. Design Basis American Design Standard: ASHRAE110- 2016 All tests including “Tracer gas containment test” passed. European Design Standard: EN-14175- 2003 ‘Inner Plane Containment test’ passed. 2. Powder coating Complete metallic parts shall be processed with multi tank pre- treatment and finished with highly corrosion resistant "Kansai Nerolac /equivalent epoxy powder coating with 70 - 80 microns thickness. Active Kinetics exhaust system Interstitial 7-point active kinetics exhaust system (for light, normal & heavy fumes) with baffle to ensure rapid exhaust of fumes. 10. Airfoil Aerodynamic Design, Horizontal fixed airfoil mounted on the worktop made of SS 304 (1.2mm) Teflon Coated. 11. Worktop Chemical resistant splash & spillage proof dished ‘Jet Black Granite’worktop (18 +1 mm thick). Skirting of 15 mm from all sides for no chemical spillage. 12. INSTALLATION: Provision, fixing, commissioning and testing It will be carried out by skilled team with ductwork design, fitting, fixing of blower, commissioning & testing of the same at a fixed extra cost as per site requirements. (Vendor may visit the site) Allied civil work and electrical work: Demolition of lab slabs, cupboard, platform, plaster and tiles etc of the size of fume hood.
