Carrying out topographical survey using DGPS/ RTK/TS along the periphery of the water line of the following area and marking of river cross section lines on the survey plan.Thelocationsofcrosssectionsandimportant points to be marked on a plan covering the entire river stretch in the area of interest as below(1.1) From Kirthai-IIDam Axisup to1 kmupstream atan interval of 100 m.(1.2) From1kmupstream ofKirthai-IIdamsiteto1 km upstream tail end of the reservoir at an interval of 500m. (approx. 5 km.)(1.3) From Kirthai-IIDam site to500m downstream at an interval of 100 m(1.4) From 500 m downstream of Kirthai-II dam site to 500 m upstream of mainTRT outlet at an Interval of 500m(1.5) From 500 m upstream to 500 m downstream of mainTRT outlet at an interval of 100m(1.6) River cross-sections of locations at G&D sites near dam, Diversion Tunnel (OT) inlet & outlet and Main and Dam Toe TRT outlets(1.7) Available observed gauge at or near dam axis, TRT outlet locations

Carrying out bathymetric survey and preparation of cross sections at locations as shown under item no.1 above showing the minimum river bed level, water level at the observation, left and right bank of the river and covering the left and right bank elevation upto 5m above kirthai II dam top (for cross sections at the dam site and upstream locations) and covering upto a minimum of 25m above the river bed level (for cross sections in the down stream of the dam site location). The locations of cross – sections and important points to be marked on a plan covering the entire river stretch in concern
