The following specifications for Anthrcite shall be adhered to Anthracite Effective size d10 - 1.0to 1.6 mmSpecific Gravity-1.45 to 1.55 Uniformity Coefficient -1.7or lowerHardness ( Mohs Scale)-> 2.7Acid Solubility-< 5%Shall confirm to AWWA : B100 Standards The Anthracite and filter sand shall be tested in Regional Research Laboratory / CSIR Labs of Goverment of India for its suitability. |
| 4 | Removing filter media from the filter beds without making any damages to the existing structures and back manifolds and stacking at a safe and convenient place for segregation process and as per the directions of the department officers etc. complete. |
| 5 | Repair/ Alteration of the under drain system by replacing all damaged pipes with suitable arrangements and providing all additional mechanisms and fixtures required according to the design of miulti layer filtering system complete. |
