| 1 | STEEL FURNITURE (PART-I) |
| 2 | Almirah (Small) Steel with Shelves (FD-1032). All dimension, shape and size shall be followed as per drg.(i) Steel Almirah (body, shutter, drawer, locker, vertical partitions and shelves) shall be made out of 1mm MS plain black sheet all as shown on drawings.(ii) All joints/welding/fixing shall be done all as shown on drawings and with standard workmanship. (iii) Almirah shall be provided with three way locking device as per ‘Godrej’ pattern .The handle shall be made out of steel chrominium plated as per ‘Godrej’ pattern. Six lever brass lock shall be provided as per Godrej pattern of make Godrej, Link, Harrison. (iv) One steel chrominium plated handle shall be provided to the drawer. (v) Locker of the almirah shall be provided with locking arrangement operated with handle as per Godrej pattern. (vi) All steel surfaces internally and externally shall be painted with two coats of synthetic enamelled paint (silver grey colour) with spray gun over a coat of zinc chromate steel primer. (vii) The welding joints shall be filed smooth before application of primer. The surface shall be thoroughly cleaned and prepared prior to application of paint. (xiii) Rest all as shown on drawing No FD1032 complete all as specified and directed. |
| 3 | Almirah Large Steel with Shelves (FD-1031).All dimension, shape and size shall be followed as per drg.(i) Steel Almirah (body, shutter, drawer, locker, vertical partitions and shelves) shall be made out of 1 mm thick mild steel sheet all as shown on drawings. (vi) All steel surfaces internally and externally shall be painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint (olive green) with spray gun over a coat of zinc chromate steel primer.(vii) The welding joints shall be filed smooth before application of primer. The surface shall be thoroughly cleaned and prepared prior to application of paint. (viii) Rest all as shown on drawing No FD-1031 complete all as specified and directed. |
| 4 | Bed Map Steel (FD/E6/MAP/08(R)).(i) Bed hard shall be manufactured all as per details shown in the drawing. All dimensions, shape and size shall be followed as per drawing. (ii) All square and rectangular MSpipesshall beof thickness 18 gauge.(iii) Top ofbed shall be of 12mm thick commercialplywood (unpolished) as per IS-303. (iv) Headboard and foot board shall be of 18-19mm thick Prelaminated particle board (both side decorative finish shade as approved by GE) as specified here-in- before, screwed to MS strip all as per details shown in drawing. Standard PVC edging (minimum thickness 1.6mm) shall be provided alround in Headboard and foot board.(v) Hard rubber/PVC shoeshall be providedto the bottom of each leg. (vi) All exposed steel surfaces shall be paintedwith two coats of synthetic enamel olive green paintover a coat of zinc chromate steel primer. The welding joints shall be filed smooth before application of primer. The surface shall be thoroughly cleaned and prepared prior to application of paint.(vii) Rest all as shown on drawing No FD/E6/MAP/08(R) complete all as specified and directed. |
| 5 | BOOK CASE STEEL (DRG NO FD-1028) Item to be fabricated as per drg.Overall size shall be 840mm long, 310mm wide and 1675mm, cold rolled, cold annealed MS sheet 1mm thick to be used for channel base, top, sides, back, bottom, front and shelves.The book case shall be provided with four compartments of equal size.The shutters of each compartment shall be open towards top and slide into the depth of the book case.Two steel handles of 100mm shall be provided to each shutter of the compartment. The locking device shall be provided to each compartmentand with duplicate key and each shutter shall be provided with decorative key plate make of lock Godrej/Harrison/Link.All joints and welding, fixing shall be done in accordance with standard workmanship.Rest all as shown on drawing. Finish. All steel surfaces internally and externally shall be painted with two coats of silver hammer paint over a coat of primer with spray machine after preparation of surfaces.A mark of MES shall also be provided on tip shutter of visible colour as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |

| 7 | Chair Writing (Map) (FD/E6/MAP/12)(a) All work shall be of Standard class. All dimensions shape and size shall be followed as per Drawing.(b) Back form shall be with cuntoured Lumber support for extra comfort.(c)120 mm thick hot pressed ply wood upholstered with fabric and moulded polyurethane foam wiht PVC lipping all round.Fabric shall contain the acrylic, polyster, poly proplyene material and colour as approved by the GE.(d) Polyurethane foam shall be 50mm thick and shall be moulded with density 50 -55kg/cum thick and hardness 20+/- 2kg on Hampde Machine. (e)Legs shall be cantilever type powder coated MS tublar frame made out of 25mm x 10mm Section. (f) All joint fixing shall be done in accordance with standard workmanship and specification. (g) Rest all as shown on drawing No FD/E6/MAP/12 complete all as specified and directed. |
| 8 | CHAIR VERANDAH (DRG NO FD-359)(i)Over all size shall be 460mm long, 600mm wide and 760 mm high.(ii) Frame of Chair verandah shall be made of 20mm dia MS conduit (16 gauge). 10mm MS round bar rod shall be welded to legs all as shown in the drawing.(iii)Seat and back of Chair verandah shall be woven with plastic cane 4mm of approved quality of make as specified here-in-before and shall be screwed at both ends as per trade practice.(iv)All joints/welding/fixing shall be done in accordance with standard workmanship and all as shown on drawings.(v) FINISHES: All exposed steel surfaces shall be paintedwith two coats of synthetic enamel white paintover a coat of zinc chromate steel primer. The welding joints shall be filed smooth before application of primer. The surface shall be thoroughly cleaned and prepared prior to application of paint.(vi) Rest all as shown on drawing. |
| 9 | Desk Stand Lecture (DRG NO FD-1022)DIMENSION :Over all size shall be 970mm wide and 1220mm high.DESCRIPTION: Two upright of mild steel rectangular tube of 75mmx25mm of 1202mm high shall be provided in rear side and shall be 635mm apart. The two upright shall be joinded with bottom, middle and top rails with 75mmx50mm mild steel tube of wal thickness 1.6mm.The two sides rails at bottom fixed at 125mm from bottom shall be 430mm long 75mmx50mm mild steel tube of wall thickness 1.6mm and shall form the part of bottom rails and join the long side of bottom rail of size 785mm long, . All edges of pre-laminated particle board remained exposed shall be covered with teak woodedging as per the size of board edging. FINISH : All steel surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be given two coats of enamel paint over a coat of primer with spray machine after preparation of steel surfaces and all wooden surfaces shall be melamine polish with lacquer finish as approved by Engr-in-Charge.Rest all as per drgs. |

FINISH : All steel surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be painted with two coats of silver grey hammer paint internallly and extrenally with spray machine after preparation of surfaces.A mark of MES shall also be provided on top left corner of front shutter with visible colour.Painting shall be done with spary machine.
