| 7 | M&L for earthing complete with electrode 02 Nos of copper plate of size 900 mm x 600 mm x 5 mm inter connected with 32 X 6 mm copper earth strip of length 1.5 meter and in centre shall be rod electrode as per UL 467 : 16mm dia solid rod with 250micron copper coating of length 3 mtr suitable connector for lower resistance. Alternate layers of soiland curec+ or equivalent (3Kg Bags x 2), make as per IEEE 80 : 2000, Clause 14.5D, maintenance free earting system to give earthing resistance value of <1Ohm. The soil shall be mix with backfill CURENITE (25kg bagsx2). Copper electrode shall be solid rod and surrounded with highly conductive and non corrosive nature (pH value certified) and covered with poly plastic earthpit cover. Further electrodes of GI pipe atleast 30mm dia shall be interconnected in parallel fashion in case low Ohm is not achieve able, poly plastic pit cover enclosure shall be providing in and including boundary of poly plastic pit cover of size 1.25 x 1.25 x 0.3 mtr of brick work duly plaster 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 and painted as per colour coding. All certificates shall be NABL LAB and CPRI certified, complete all as specified and directed. Notes : The contractor shall render a guarantee of 24 years for satisfactory working / effectiveness of earthing from the certified date of completion from manufacturing firm / executive agency. The guarantee amount towards effectiveness of earthing equal to 5% of the cost of earthing item in the form of FDR in favour of Garrison Engineer shall be furnished by the contractor. The matured amount after 10 years (which is maximum period of FDR) again will be guarantee amount for next 10 years and thereafter i.e. after 20 years matured amount will be guarantee for next 04 years. Matured amount after 20 years will be given as guarantee amount for next 04 years to meet cost of inflation for time to time which will be released after satisfactory expiry of guarantee period by the GE. |
