Name of Work: Miscellaneous civil works at Chaithanya Building
Sl. No. Item Description
1Demolishing cement concrete manually or by mechanical means including disposal of material in dumping yard outside the campusas per direction of Engineer-in-charge
2Dismantling of old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of material in dumping yard outside the campus as per direction of Engineer-in-charge
3Dismantling aluminium/ Gypsum/wooden partitions, doors, windows, fixed glazing/ mirror and false ceiling including disposal of unserviceable surplus material and stacking of serviceable material with in 50 meters lead as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
4For water bearing conditions, solvent free polyurethane based injection system .Shall be injected through non-returnable packers placed at the required locations after drilling hole in such a way that the hole passes through the cracks in a slanting position. Thepackers shall be fixed using instant plugging compound. The injection can be carried out with specified make, Two component, Fast setting polyurethane injection resinand two component, strengthening type epoxy injection system compound, at the identified points.(Elastic PUR Injection resin for permanent water tight sealing) Including all labour and material.
5Earth work in excavation in all kinds of soil by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including disposal of excavated earth,disposal on the scope of contractor.
6Providing and laying water proofing treatment on roofs of slabs by applying cement slurry mixed with water proofing cement compound consisting of applying:(a) after surface preparation, first layer of slurry of cement @ 0.488 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.253 kg/sqm.(b) laying second layer of Fibre glass cloth when the first layer is still green. Overlaps of joints of fibre cloth should not be less than 10 cm.(c) third layer of 1.5 mm thickness consisting of slurry of cement @ 1.289 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.670 kg/sqm and coarse sand @ 1.289 kg/sqm. This will be allowed to air cure for 4 hours followed by water curing for 48 hours. The entire treatment will be taken upto 30 cm on parapet wall and tucked into groove in parapet all around. (d) fourth and final layer of brick tiling with cement mortar (which will be paid for separately. For the purpose of measurement the entire treated surface will be measured.\"
7Providing and laying in position cement concrete,1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand (zone-III) : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level.
8Providing and laying RCC in position 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand (zone-III): 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) mix grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement-All work up to plinth level.
9Steel reinforcement for R.C.C work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete upto plinth level,Thermo - Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more.
10Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work for Foundations, footings, bases for columns.
11smooth plastering of surface for painting providing 12 mm thick cement plaster of mix 1:3(1 cement:3 fine sand) finished with a floating coat of neat cement etc. complete as per directions of Engineer-in-charge
12Providing rough plastering for tile work with 12 mm cement plaster of mix :1:4 (1 cement: 4 fine sand)
13Providing and fixingpaneling made out ofaluminium box frame using extruded sections of size 50 x 25 mm - 1.5mm thick at 600mm c/c in both direction covered with 12 mm thick fire retardant plywood on sides up to false ceiling and finished with 4 mm thick decorative veneer faced plywood of approved shade including formingpattern and details as per directions of Engineer-in-charge.Rate shall include cost for necessary hardwares and shall include for forming a paneling to any shape including circular profile etc. complete. Actual seen surface area.(Elevation)(i.e) from FFLto bottom of false ceiling height will be measured and paid.
14Providing and fixing beveled edge mirror of superior glass (of approved quality) complete with 6 mm thick hard board ground fixed to wooden cleats with C.P. brass screws and washers complete.as per directions of Engineer-in-charge
15Providing and fixing I st quality vetrified wall tiles conforming to IS : 15622 (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer), of approved make, in all colours, shades of any size as approved by Engineer -in-Charge, in skirting, risers of steps and dados, over 12 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) and jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3 kg per sqm, including pointing in white cement mixed with pigment of matching shade complete.
16Providing and fixing 18 mm thick gang saw cut granite of anny colour and shade, mirror polished premoulded and prepolished, machine cut for kitchen platforms, steps, vanity counters, window sills,facias and similar locations of required size, approved shade, colour and texture laid over 20 mm thick base cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), joints treated with white cement, mixed with matching pigment, epoxy touch ups, including rubbing, curing, moulding and polishing to edges to give high gloss finish etc. complete at all levels.
17Removing white or colour wash by scrapping and sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete
18Applying one coat of water thinnable cement primer of approved brand and manufacture on wall surface etc complete as per directions of Engineer - in - charge
19Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete.
20Finishing walls with textured interior paint of required shade (two or more coats applied @ 3.28 ltr/10 sqm) over and including priming coat of interior primer applied @ 2.20kg/10 sqm Make: Asian paints/ Nerolac/ Berger/ ICI
21Painting two or more coats with premium acrylic emulsion paint of interior grade, having VOC(Volatile Organic Compound ) content less than 50 grams/ litre. of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coats wherever required to achieve even shade and colour as per directions of Engineer-in-charge. Make: Asian paints/ Nerolac/ Berger/ ICI
22Painting two or more coats with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade as per directions of Engineer-in-charge.Make: Asian paints/ Nerolac/ Berger
23Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to an give even shade one or more coatsincluding appropriate priming coat, preparation of surface by scrapping/cleaning, etc. complete on steel work at all levels as per directions of Engineer-in-charge.
24Providing and fixing precoated galvanised iron profile sheets (size, shape and pitch of corrugation as approved by Engineer-in-charge) 0.80 mm (+0.05%), total coated thickness with zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns. Sheet should have protective guard film of 25 microns minimum to avoid scratches during transportation and should be supplied in single length upto 12 metre or as desired by Engineer-in-charge. The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling/self tapping screws of size (5.5x55mm) with EPDM seal, complete upto any pitch in horizontal/ vertical or curved surfaces, excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including suitable size ridge andcutting to size and shape wherever required.
25Steel work in built up tubular (round, square or rectangular hollow tubes etc.) trusses etc., including cutting, hoisting, fixing position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer, including welding and bolted with special shaped washers etc. complete of Hot finished welded type tubes.
