D each body block (SS/SL/TM) building consisits of 1 Main unit & then Add-on units Each unit has 5 loading levels formed by 4 nos. adjustable shelves, Optimizer height from ground is 2080mm (1980 body + 65 undercarriage + 35 channel system). Size of the Single Body : 2360 H x 457 D x 915 W (mm) (in Three bay configuration) Finish : The bodies including shelves are given antirust surface treatment & are powder coated with epoxy polyester powder, involves 8 step process. Final finish consists of epoxy polyester powder coating of approved colour & shade with a dry film. Thickness of minimum 40 microns. The testing of paint is done for various physical & chemical properties as per IS: 101. The material is then oven baked with a controlled temperature of 180 deg. C to 200 Deg. C. |
| 2 | Shelf Construction : It is made of 0.8 mm thick CRCA steel conforming to IS: 513 Gr. D or DD. It is max load bearing capacity is 75Kg + 5 Kg tolerance uniformly distributed per shelf. Shelves are mounted on support brackets & shelf level can be adjusted at approx 25mm + 2mm pitches. There are 4 adjustable shelves per body giving 5 loading levels. If no Cradle pair is provided UDL of Per Shelf : 80 Kg. + 5 kg size of shelf : 428mm Undercarriage Construction: The undercarriage is a welded frame made of HR sheet 3.15 mm thick conforming to IS: 10748 suitably fabricated to take the loads based on Configuration. The undercarriage after pre-treatment is coated with final finish consisting of epoxy polyester powder coat of approved colour & shade with a dry film. Thickness of minimum 40 microns + 5 microns. |
| 3 | Movement of the Unit : Drive Type Configuration movement is achieved mechanically through a PU Drive wheel and Sprocket Chain Tensioner" arrangement mounted rigidly onto body side. Each movable undercarriage is provided with 2 Rollers on the shaft for driving 2 antifriction ball bearing for rolling and 4 antifriction ball bearing for guiding between rail. Fittings - Centralized Locking : A Centralized locking arrangement is provided through locking stiffener mounted onto back of single last unit so that is gets locked on channels when all the units are brought together. The Recess handle lock is of approved make & placed at suitable height. This arrangment occupies a space of 90.0mm. Fasteners: The nuts & bolts are galvanized/ blackodized/ Zn Plated Guide Channels consisting of "J" section 2mm thick HR sheet & 25mm Square bright bar both connected by screws. Prior to the embedding of the guide channels with the help of raul plug & screw the ground has to be properly leveled condition.
