The DG set shall be suitable for 1600m-AMSL altitude, -100C to +400C temperature and 60% relative humidity. The DG Set shall comprise of diesel engine and alternator coupled together and fitted with standard accessories, control panel, battery, anti vibration pads, MS canopy duly painted and conforming to noise pollution specifications. The DG Set should be rated for continuous duty with overload provision of 10% for the period not exceeding one hour in twelve hours. The DG set shall comprise of A)ALTERNATOR The alternator shall be self excited. Self regulated for desired rating. The alternator shall be fitted with high performance AVR and suitable for continuous and trouble free operation.
