Name of Work: REPAIR/MAINT OF TRANSFORMER, GOD’S AND HT SWITCH GEARS AND ALLIEDWORKS AT AF STN NALIYA
Sl. No. Item Description
1M&L for ON load centrifuging and dehydration including filtration and cleaning oftransformer oil by dehydration machine electric operated without any shutdown of transformer including testing oilsamplebefore and after dehydration and filtration oilas specified and directedNote: (i) Transformer oil required for top upshall be measuredand paid for separately. Oil test report shall be submitted for before and after dehydration to Engr -in- charge(ii) Contractor have to arrange the dehydration machine and testing kit from his own resources without any extra cost . Contractor shall use mobile filtration plant with all accessories for different locations.
2M& L for toping up of transformer oil in transformers, having die electric strengthnot less than 45 KV (at 2.5 mm gap) high voltage as per IS specification of low viscosity.Make : Power link/Power-oil /Savita. Note : Dielectric strength test should be carried out by the contractorat site before pouring/filling in oil in transformers. The oil found with under specification will not be accepted.
3M& L in repairs for rewinding of HT coils with copper wire/strip DPC/super enameled high quality matching with existing gauge and impedance including requisite insulating paper/material in each layer of winding after taking down old existing winding of HTcoils complete.Note : For srl item No 1 to 2the rate quoted against these items is inclusive necessary provision and cost of all types of insulating materials and heating/ varnishing etc.
4Disconnecting HT/LT electric connection of outdoor/indoor transformer of capacity upto 630 KVA by opening of top cover and draining out oil from transformer upto bushing level and rectify minor repair inside or out side of the transformer like tightening LT or HT bushing, oil leakage from LT bushing etc at site. Note : Rate is deemed to be inclusive ofcrane for lifting and man power etc. Transportation shall be paid under separate item
5Draining out complete oil from transformer of capacity up to 630 KVAat site which found major repair and storage the oil in suitable dry container and lifting of core assembly by opening of top cover and other items for inspection and lowering/fixing of core assembly in its original position after inspection to make it ready for transportation to carry out rewinding work in workshop Note : (i)Rate is deemed to be inclusive ofcrane and man power for lifting(ii) container to be provided by the contractor to keep aside for re-use.(iii) Transportation shall be paid under separate item
6Transportation of unserviceable transformer of up to 630 KVA capacity to workshop and return back for installation it on original position/location after repairing/maint /rewinding from workshop. Note : (i) Rate is deemed to be inclusive of transportation, T&P and man power.(ii) Major items required for maint and winding work shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item (iii) Repairing of transformer have to be completed within 25 days duration.(iv)In case the defective/ unserviceable transformernotrepaired & installed on its sitewithin the specified period of 25 days from the date of handing over to contractor ; a panel recovery@ Rs. 1000/- per day will becharged from his dues.
7M&L for Removing the lamination in proper manner carefully for taking out serviceable/ unserviceable HT/LT coils from the limbs oftransformer up to 600 KVA capacity.
8M& L for inserting of rewinded HT/LT new/old coils on limbs after cleaning of lamination in proper way and also after insulating the limbs with requisite insulating materials and brazing of star delta connection with tap changer up to 630 KVA capacity transformer complete all as directed.
9M& L for baking the core assembly in the oven duly varnishing the coil to improve IR value and to eliminate moisture content up to 630 KVA capacity transformer complete .
10M&L for inserting the core assembly after baking in the tank (before inserting tank to be cleaned by removing all deposit sludge etc including drying) and making connection with HT/LT bushing studs and closing the tank top cover by fixing of suitable size of nut, bolts and washers (Top cover gasket will be measured and paid separately).
11Supply and fixing in renewal porcelain vitrous brown transformer bushing HT 11 KV including brass stud conical bush and gasket suitable for indoor/outdoor transformer of capacity 63 KVA to 630 KVA complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
12Supply and fixing in renewal of porcelain vitrous brown LT 1100V transformer bushing including brass studs conical bush and gasket suiatble for indoor/outdoor transformer of the capacity 63 KVA to 630 KVA.
13S&F in renewal of silica get breather assembly with vent pipe and new silica gel suiatble for indoor/outdoor transformer of capacity 63 KVA to 630 KVA.
14S & F Top cover gasket made up of 5 mm thick cork sheet complete all as specified and directed by EIC.
15M & L for replacement of 90 degree lug boot for HT terminals on each phase for protection of the HT termainals from moisture/dust etc complete all as specified and as directed.
16Supply and fixing in replacement silica gel for transformer complete all as directed.
17Supply and fixing in replacement of defective tap changer with tapping arrangement 2.5% & 7.5% on normal tapping complete.
18Shifting of serviceable/unserviceable transformer of any capacity from one place to another place (indoor/outdoor) for repair/maint of existing transformer. Note The rate quoted is deemed to be included all as transportation cost, , earthing leads lifting/lowering arrangement, labour etc for transformer of capacity up to 600 KVA.
19M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces of steel by brushing/cleaning stain, greasy spots with thinner applying two coats of spray painting (synthetic enamel paint) on outside with spraying machine to transformer indoor/outdoor/ fixed on poles or in Sub Station at different location after disconnecting of HT supply from incoming and LT supply from outgoing of capacity100 KVA to 630 KVA and including writing letter in block English letter 100 mm size with white synthetic enamel paint details as given below :-(i)MAKE(ii)CAPCACTY(iii) SRL NO /SM No.______
20Material and labour for brass/GM gate valve (drain valve) of 25mm bore or suitable for 100 KVA to 600 KVA capacity transformer and provided necessary rubber packing to stop leakage after taking down old existing brass drain valve complete.
21Excavation in trenches in hard/dense soil not exceeding 1.5 meter wide and not exceeding 1.5 meter in depth for laying of cables and getting out of excavated material complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Note : Old serviceable PCC/RCC cable covers will be taken outfor relaying and paidunder separate items
22Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layer not exceeding 25cm thick eachcomplete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge
23Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 meter and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50 meter above the starting point complete all as specified and directed
24M & L for river bed fine sand in trenches/ ducts 15 cm under cable and 8 cm above the cable for cushioning/protection to cable including spreading, leveling and get thick 18cm after hand punning complete all as specified and directed at site.
25Supply and laying factory madeprecast in reinforced concrete cable covers Class HV, type 1 flat of size 300mm x 180mm x 40 mm for HT cable all as specified
26Relaying old retrievedprecast in reinforced concrete cable covers vide item aboveClass HV, type 1 flat of size 300mm x 180mm x 40 mm for HT cable all as specified
27Taking out old unserviceable HT/LT cable of any size any type from trench/poles etc and keeping aside for segregation of serviceability. Serviceable cable will be re-laid at same place or other place as required complete as directed.
28Supply & Fix in replacementof HT 11 KV 3 core 95 Sqmm cable in trenches/fixed to poles/wall, XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (HT), heavy duty with aluminum conductor, 11000 volts (earthed) grade 95 Sqmm x 3 coreall as specified and directed by EIC.(Note: Excavation, earthwork, cable joints, sand cushioning & cable coverwill be measured and paid separately if required
29Relaying the serviceable HT 11 KV 3 core 95/120 sqmm of size cable in trenches/fixed to poles/wall, XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (HT), all as specified and directed by EIC.(Note: (i)Excavation, earth work, cable joints, sand cushioning & cable coverwill be measured and paid separately.
30Supply, jointing and testing indoor type cable termination (heat shrinkable) suitable for 3 core, 11 KV / underground electric cable, XLPE cable of size 120 sqmm extra terminal length as required on ground complete all as directed
31Supply, jointing and testing outdoor type cable termination (heat shrinkable) suitable for 3 core, 11 KV /underground electric cable, XLPE cable of size 120 sqmm, extra terminal length as required on ground complete all as specified.
32Supply, jointing and testing of cable joint kit of 11 KV grade cable for straight through heat shrinkable type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured Aluminum conductor cable of size 120 sqmm, complete all as specified.
33Supply, jointing and testing indoor type cable termination (heat shrinkable) suitable for 3 core, 11 KV /underground electric cable, XLPE cable of size 95 sqmm, extra terminal length as required on ground complete all as specified
34Supply, jointing and testing outdoor type cable termination (heat shrinkable) suitable for 3 core, 11 KV /underground electric cable, XLPE cable of size 95 sqmm, extra terminal length as required on ground complete all as specified

37Supply and laying galvanised steel water tubing, light grade, IS-1239 marked with all fittings (IS marked)and laid in trenches / under roads / in drains / fixed to poles/walls (with required size flat iron clamp bolts, nuts and washers)pipesof thesize 80 mm bore complete all as specified and directed .
38Supplying, installing, testing and commissioning of gang operated dropout switch air-break, triple poleoff load switch with drop out fuse set insulator, mounted on channelsoutdoor, vertical mounting type HT 11 KV,50 Hzof rating 400 Amps, ISI marked, mechanically operated, mounted on insulators and frame work with operating mechanism worked from ground level with adequatelength ofGI pipe 32 mm dia medium grade ,and locking arrangements, complete with fuse mounts, fuse carriers and HT fuse elements having30 amp rating suitable for incl. necessary electric connections,complete all as specified.
39M&L for preparation and painting 04 nos band / strips with blue and white paint alternately all around the HT/LT pole with synthetic enamel paint at a distance of 30 cm and painting both side for numbering with black enamelled paint and writing LT/PL No on both side of pole with white enamelled paint ofcomplete all as specified and directed
40M&L for tracing out HT cable fault through HT fault locator machine by HT expert and testing of HT cable through megger and repair the same. Note:- The cost of the earth work, equipment and person required for locating fault is inclusive in unit rate (ii) Joint of cable will be measured separately under relevant item.

47Supply and lay XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross-sectional area 185 sq. mm 3.5 Core complete all as specified and directed Note : Connection with using proper size aluminum lugs inclussive in unit rate.
48Relaying old retrievedprecast in reinforced concrete cable covers vide item aboveClass LV, type 1 flat of size 250mm x 150mm x 40 mm for LT cable all as specified
49M&L earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 600mmx600mm x3.15mm thick, thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 mtr deep below GL with top edge of the plate not less than 1.50 mtr below normal GL and connected to earth plate . Earth plate surrounded by 15 cm thick packed layers of charcoal dust and common saltall around the earth plate and connected to earth leadof copper strip 20x3 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of GI or steel and thimbles and other end of the earth wire connected to DB and protected by 50mm dia galvanized iron or steel pipe light grade and 20mm dia water pipe GI medium grade with funnel and wire mesh, including all necessary excavation and earth work PCC chamber in cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 and RCC cover and all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES schedule Pt I of2009 and also including making test point for testing of earthingmade out ofgun metal or phosphorous bronze size 75x75x25 mm complete for DB and Industrial socket.Note : 1. Charcoal dust and common salt shall be filled in layers of 15 centimeters all around the earth plate.2.Copper strip will be laid connected to test point through plinth protection necessary cost of repair to plinth protection and brazing and welding deemed to be included in the item copper strip beyond 7.5 RM will be measured and paid separately).On completion the earth resistance test to be carried out. If desired value of resistance not obtained, the earthing will be re-done at no extra cost.
